There's not even a close second. The only thing that can somewhat rival it is the Simpsons, but its quality fell off so drastically after the 10th season that it sullied the whole brand.
For a Saturday morning kids show, it had very dark themes, and the spooky noir feel allowed it to connect with adults on a level that 99% of kids shows wouldn't be able to.
I don't judge a movie/TV show from its accolades, ratings, or reviews, but it did win 4 Emmy awards, which is pretty incredible considering that it only ran for two seasons.
I'm not sure that many of you have even watched it, but for those of you who have, feel free to discuss your favourite episodes and moments from the show. Mine were the two episodes considering Kyodai Ken, the ninja. They revealed a lot of interesting flashbacks about Bruce's early martial arts training, his single-minded determination, and his unshakeable samurai mentality.
