BANGER Vadim Nemkov Highlight + Fedor appearance

If my current job was in buttfuck nowhere and my new job was in an awesome city with the potential to make them times as much?

Yes, definitely.
Location doesn't matter in the MMA profession so thats not a factor. If you already lived where you wanted to and were offered a 50% paycut to do the same job you wouldn't take it and you know it.

It was a metaphor

Nemkov wants to be paid UFC champion money without being a UFC champion.

His UFC record is 0-0.

If he won ONE fight in the UFC he would be in title contention. If he won a couple more he would make more than he could possibly make in fucking PFLator.

Who makes more? Poatan or Nemkov?

This is a matter of two assholes with big egos having a pissing contest, nothing more.
There's a lot more MMA than just the UFC. Great fighters who have proven themselves and made a name for themselves don't and shouldn't have to take pay cuts to join the biggest MMA promotion, it makes the UFC look bad. Can you imagine that happening in any other sport?

If Nemkov wants to make the most money, he should fight in the UFC. If he wants to be the most famous, he should fight in the UFC. If he wants the greatest legacy, he should fight in the UFC.

I am not a fan of Dana White and I am on record saying it is well past time for him to go. His ego is a huge problem for the company. I hope Nemkov fights in the UFC at some point, but he also has a huge ego.

Lol, what is with you and assuming everyone has an ego. It's called prize fighting and the UFC offered him a 50% pay cut. Nemkov can make more money in his current contract and get a better offer next time especially if he ends up being a double champion in Bellator/PFL which there's a good chance of.

A bad one that doesn't fit the situation.
Nah it was an apt metaphor.

From the perspective of most MMA fans and the media, the UFC is the centre of the MMA universe. Everything else is on the periphery.

Nemkov and many other elite fighters are working out in the middle of nowhere(Bellator, RIZIN, PFL) and getting paid handsomely to do it. But no one outside of the most hardcore MMA fans know who these guys are.

Is it fair that the UFC underpays their fighters and lowballs the champions of their competition? Of course not, but fucking life is not fair. Of all the great injustices in this world, underpaying a millionaire professional athlete is not one of them.

He could make more money in the UFC.

He was offended by the lowball offer because of his ego, nothing more. He thinks he deserves a certain number, and maybe he does. But the UFC will not ever offer someone what they are really worth.

He could make more money in the UFC.
That greatly depends on the whims of Dana White. He would only make more money if they give him a title shot which they might not. They dont have the best track record of giving the most deserving fighter the title shot. Also Alex seems to be trying to pick his fights now too since he doesn't want to fight Ankalaev so that's another hurdle.

It could take him 1 or 2 years to get a title shot or more depends on who's popular and he wouldn't make more money till he wins the belt.

If he stays in PFL/Bellator and becomes double HW champion he could get a much better offer from the UFC make more money in the meantime and might get an immediate title shot.

This is the biggest problem with the UFC. Dana White is a fucking cancer on the company and his idiotic slap fighting is a festering boil. Fuck Dana White.

They are scared of Fedor entering the UFC premises. Thats what its about.
Never thought of that but you may be absolutely right. Can't imagine Dana wanting Fedor cornering any UFC events

It's a job at the end of the day. Legacy doesn't pay your bills nor your families bills

Nemkov is better off betting on himself in PFL/Bellator. If he becomes HW champion of both organizations after having been a defending LHW champion in Bellator he will get a much better offer when his current contract is up and might get an immediate title shot. He will also make more money unless they were to give him a title shot within like 3 fights or less.

Imagine he beats Ngannou in the next year or 2 for the PFL belt, that would get him a much better offer and a much quicker shot at the belt in the UFC.

The competition will certainly be easier

Ngannou's not easier competition than what's in the UFC.
Yes, he is, and I doubt he ever fights MMA again.

If Nemkov is happy making more money fighting lesser opponents, more power to him. I'd love to see him fight the best in the world, but unfortunately that doesn't seem likely.
