Bam Margera

He's a nutcase but I liked CKY and Jackass as a kid. Now I just think that it's retarded and I can't seem to understand what was so appealing to me when I was a kid.

A good friend of mine is struggling with drink and drugs. I know many people that have. This guy however was in a very well known band. Now when he’s out with us he’s sober but the issue is because of his band he still has people that ‘worship’ him to a degree. He can go online now and find 5 girls willing to fuck him and get him whatever drugs and whatever booze he wants. Many years ago when I was at my worst even a few of my dealers were telling me I needed to slow it down, my friend doesn’t even have to meet dealers. I’d say bam is in a similar situation and it’s less about the money and more about the “fame”. Despite his public battle with addiction there will always be people willing to bring him to a party and hook him up with what’re he wants.

That's on him though sir, it sucks but you gotta let him find his bottom, and everyone is different.

I was an addict from the age of 15 to 30, and it just hit me one day that it was over.
I had died once and brought back, homeless twice, I was a fuckin mess.

At 30 I just felt lucky to be alive one day, I felt like I should've died many times with all the shit I did.
And I quit just like that...after a several hour convo with myself, really breaking myself down, not letting myself get easy outs.

Its hard as fuck but it is sooo worth it once you walk away for good sir.

Sorry for ranting man.

After the death of Ryan he went down hill super fast

I know a few people in real life that overly-grieve dead friends and family members, sometimes from well over 20 years ago, and they make everyone around them negative and miserable hearing about it all the time.

Yes, it’s sad when people die, but they have to get over it. If anything, I think some people use it as an excuse to act like an asshole.

Oh it’s 100% his own doing and his own choice. Unfortunately there’s no rock bottom for him. Ended up in jail. Is constantly ending up in hospital. The guy was basically homeless then after another friend put him up got some random Dutch girl to send him god knows what so my other friend came home from work to the police searching his place. He’s on a roll for being sober around us but when he calls from hospital saying he’s got whatever infection we know what’s really happened. Thing about him though is he was always a bit of a liability even before he got “famous”

haha he's been on the ketamine "regimen" looong before it became a popularized treatment. & this motherfucker did not microdose whatsoever. imagine this is what ultimately sorted him out in the end?

if you look at Knoxville he looks like an empty shell of a man, frail & decrepit really. the drugs & partying clearly left him wrecked. Steve-O & Pontius are the last Wild Boyz standing.
Johnny Knoxville is 52 years old, what's he supposed to look like?

Yes for some people and especially the mentally ill there is no such rock bottom for them. Death is their rock bottom. Tried to help a mentally ill friend who ended up killing himself. But in the process I found a bunch of articles on how those with severe mental issues don’t have a rock bottom. Most people do though

That’s a great story. 15 years is a long time to suffer. So good how your life seems to be now

I met Bam back in 2016. One of my closest friends was running a skate church (yeah, literally a church where you could go and skate) and Bam was just travelling across Europe and skating in different spots in hope for a comeback. His wife Nikki was with him too. I didn't know what to expect, but at the time he was trying to quit drinking and drugs (in fact I saw him politely reject drugs myself) and he seemed very chill and talked and interacted with all of us like a regular guy, no diva BS. Another very close friend of mine does lightpainting and asked Bam to come the following day for a session and he did (for free), took pictures and was all around an awesome approachable guy who seemed appreciative and to be enjoying life, idk it's weird and sad to see how things developed since then.
Here are some of the pictures my mate took in that session at the skate church:

I hope the guy can get his shit together
