Bam Margera

Dude needs to go to prison, only thing that might force him to get clean.
He wouldn’t even be able to stay sober in prison, truth be told.

This is just life now and we need to learn how to live with it, with the short time we have left with the man.

I never saw the appeal of the chap. Seemed like an arsehole fucking around with arseholes. Like sure, skateboarding, stunts etc, but why do people idolise people who are obviously damaged and create shit content?

What I mean is, sure it's sad a person is struggling, but why is it any more sad than anyone else not famous having issues?

Does the guy have any redeeming features?

Jackass was shit content?

He would have been like 8.

<DontBelieve1>
Which part? That i was told someone I almost got in a fight with was Bam years after or that I barely remember the time I almost got in a fight with some skaters from west chester.
It wasn’t until years later when jackass came out that my friend told me one of those kids back then was Bam.
Maybe I was about to kick the shit out of a little 8 year old kid.

honestly i wa shtinkng aobut this the othre day
if u asked a younger bam amgrea how he wanted to go out i think yers of acolholism and aforest escape and shootout makes snese

Or spaceship ride that runs out of gas in space and he has to skateboard back to earth but gets lost

Not to shit on a guy while he's down, but I agree. Always seemed like a bit of an ass in that he was happy to pick on others but couldn't really take it as much as he gave it.
Totally. He seemed the most 'mean spirited' of the group. The others had more of a doing it for fun, but Bam just seemed like a dick.

Nine club has the best skate interviews in the history of media.
C-Rob shouldn't be hosting that though.
Roger should be, and that's because he has more knowledge than everyone in that house combined.

Good show overall though sir.
Roger doesn't speak clearly enough to be the host. I don't mind Crob. I'm not really a podcast listener, but I love NineClub, especially the old dudes from the 80s and 90s.

The fact that your brothers band wrote a song about their daughter sucking off their uncle leads me to believe this family is more than just 'maladjusted'

Old heads are my favorite, and Roger could mumble all he wants with the amount of knowledge he has stored in his head sir.

Sounds like Bam is rolling around with some tweeker chick and her kid in a stolen car. Bam went back to house to stay, was there less than a week and had a nasty fight with Jess. Jess's ear is fucked up pretty bad. He fled and is prob in New Jersey at the moment.

Cops are looking for him.

After Ryan Dunn died Bam has been off the rails.
Its like he's been chasing Dunn since.

Agreed. I also thought constantly beating up his Dad who came off as nothing more than a docile friendly person was never funny.

Between the Nine Club podcast and Steve Os, I've followed a little bit. Last I knew, he was supposedly sober and had a shaman. He still seemed very wired up and I'm not shocked he relapsed.
I wonder why the nine club ended. It was also weird when they were forced to have a trans skater on there.

You have to give him credit for the way he blended his skating and the stunts in videos like CKY. Shortly after, Jackass is launched as well. There was a huge market for it and he cashed in. He parlayed that into other shows. You can argue that he created a market and he maximized that. I worked at a skate shop in the early 2000s and his board sales were higher than all other boards combined.

Jackass was shit content?

Sure, he was a person who in the right place and time succeeded in doing a thing for a while. It's kinda like saying it was an achievement for Korn to start Nu Metal. For me the achievement I measure them by is the art they have produced, rather than the scene they pioneered.

Purposefully so? Good shit, but certainly shit.
