Multiplat BALDUR'S GATE III

Here is a link of people discussing it if you haven't already seen it. I think there was also a patch today so maybe it was fixed. I'm sure Larian won't drag their feet on this.

I saw that post and closed my game and it installed a patch, it did not fix the issue. Luckily I did a hard save before the "point of no return" and there are a few side quests I can do, but its definitely annoying.

Went through the Hag area last night. Coolest area I've seen so far but also the first real bug I ran into. Had to do the encounter 3x to not
Have Mayrina die, even though my damage was set to nonlethal. The first time I wasn't sure what happened, then the second time her status said both unconscious and dead.
Yeah, I had problems with that person dying too.

Thankfully it was the last bit of business in Act 1 for me, so I didn't mind redoing the battle a few times. It was an easy fight at that point and I was testing different outcomes anyway. I took great pleasure it killing that hag at will.

When I first tried it, way earlier in the game, I probably died 10 times before loading an earlier save and booking it. Really loved that area though!

Yeah I got the camp event after the tieflings and she explianed she's really not down with anything not focused on our problems. So she's gonna bitch if I get bogged down in side content basically.

<6>

Lae'zal was basically like it's too bad you're such a bitch or maybe you'd get to bang me which I wasn't expecting lmao. That's what made me realize it was a chance to try to romance everyone. I started going back through areas and went in a house I'd missed in the goblin camp and found ogres banging . This game has it all.
That's what I love about Laezel. I accidentally clicked on her after a few dialog chats during a quest and she's just like, hey you aren't as big of a pussy as I thought, wanna fuck later? And I was just completely caught off guard especially because i felt like i was getting a lot of disapproval from her lol. Ended up going with it and will probably continue the romance with her the entire game. Good thing she got to me before Astorian or I'd be letting him suck more than my blood.

Yea that's kinda weird, I went through and did the hag lair but didn't have a problem with Mayrina. Whatever triggers that bug I obviously didn't do.

Larian said in the early release they had time to fix many of the bugs in the first and even some in the second but deep in the game there will still be some that arise that will have to be fixed. I'm sure they are well aware of the situation and taking it seriously. They don't seem like the type to just let that sit and fester.

Shadowheart likes certain good actions like helping animals and showing mercy, but is fine with pragamatic (but arguably evil-ish) decisions that avoid fights (lying, manipulation, threats), pretty much anything that Laezel wants to do Shadowheart likes if you do the opposite.

Selune and Shar are twin goddesses of light and dark basically, and they are at war with each other. Shadowheart follows Shar so she isn't necessarily a "good" character. I don't know what to make of it but Shar is the goddess of night, secrets, and loss, so considering Shadowheart's background it makes sense.

As the greater deity of darkness, Shar is feared for her power over the night, secrets, and loss. She is locked in eternal conflict with her twin sister Selune, goddess of the moon.

Githyanki hatch out of eggs on the material plane but their home is in the Astral plane. I'm not bangin a bitch that hatched from an egg and is not even from my plane of existence. On a more serious note, some woke hints do creep into conversations with her because she says only certain Githyanki lay the eggs for their race and she couldn't imagine being a human and not being able to have tons of sex without the threat of child birth always looming.

Lol I'm going for Shadowheart I think. But just cause she's hot. She's kinda bitchy. They all are except for Astarion. Although I haven't picked up many characters yet. I should have told the dude you meet by the ship to go to my camp. Wyll I think.

Yeah I hit her with nonlethal damage during the fight and she just died. I guess she can wander off into the poison and die too. But she just teleported outside after the fight for me. Really cool area.

I'm at the end of the game and had Shadowheart in my party since the Nautiloid playing a Good Paladin and she's been at max approval since act 1. Her story/background is more complex than "Shar worshiper", despite her dialogue. Her approval/disapprovals hint at there being more to her story but I don't want to give away any spoilers so:

She was a Selune cleric who got abducted and brainwashed by a Sharran cult, choices you make in the game allow her to be return to the light

Goddamn, Ive played so much and havent even sniffed a sight of the actual city of Baldurs Gate.

I've spent about 90 hours so far trying to find everything I can find and talk to everyone and do as much as possible and still haven't seen Baldur's Gate. In fact I thought tonight I was done with Act 2 except the main objective and went over the map one more time and located an entire dungeon area under a graveyard called Thorm Mausoleum. There is A TON of what appears to be handcrafted content. I see some people finishing the game after playing 50 or 60 hours but no way in fuck they did everything. They had to have missed or skipped a lot of stuff.

I got that quest for Raphael, at least to fight someone on his behalf in the Mausoleum, turned into something far, far grander.

Make sure you have Shadowheart with you, she's crucial to aspects beyond the entrance puzzle. I think you need to go deep into it to challenge Act II's end boss anyway.

I finally got to the Outskirts of Baldur's Gate last night, and started Act III after a tough fight and big plot twist (I'm always oblivious to these things). I was all ready for a new chapter after playing about 90 hours according to Steam, lots of save scumming lol. I spent about half of that time in each Act.

I decided to clean up my saves, as I had so damn many. I switched over to M&K because it's faster. I got sloppy and deleted about three hours worth of content, I'm a retard.

Yea, Shadowheart is a mainstay in my group. I generally will delete some saves at the beginning of each session to keep control of them because otherwise I'll wake up one day and have 1,000 saves. And I don't know why but your story about deleting 3 hours worth of content amuses me. I actually wheezed a little bit. <45>

Looks like only Japan is getting a physical verison of the PS5 port

Has there been any breakdowns of the ending?

Remember the '17,000 Endings' soundbyte from before it released?

I'm curious how 'Choice A or B results in Consequence 1 & 2' for the entire experience.

Im so out of the loop these days but what are the most recent general sales of digital vs physical disc on consoles?

Sometimes certain games just have to go to the top of the que. Pretty girls get in the club the easiest.

i havent been playing too much attention to this game and it kinda flew under my radar. ive never played any baldurs gate games and to my understanding theres a crap tonne of cinematics and i dunno if i can get into those kind of games, and its a turn based thing as well.

so i kinda forgot about it but then i got a buddy who plays the game and some of my coworkers wouldnt shut up about the game yesterday and i noticed it has a 97 on metacritic and the user reviews are through the roof too so i had to check out some videos and stuff on youtube just to see what all the buzz was about and then it caught my interest and then i ended up watching all these beginner tips and tutorial things and holy shit there seems like alot of mechanics to the game, but it looks like one i can totally get down with

so i sailed the seven seas last night and snagged it up, just installed the hotfix 3 because apparently hotfix 4 is borked and even the developers are advising against it, and now im at the launcher screen all ready to go. think ill have me a beer and a smoke before i fuck my life up. think im gonna roll paladin off the bat but there was alot of classes that actually peaked my interest.

Paladin is probably one of, if not the most powerful classes in the game right now. I'm playing a Fighter class and like it a little too much. Think i might play a Bard on second playthrough or a Sorcerer.
