Multiplat BALDUR'S GATE III

I'm absolutely loving the game, but it isn't like Starfield isn't gonna be great, too. I'm gonna play both and enjoy the shit of them.
I bought Starfield after that direct presser, blew me away. I swore never to pre order again, but with so many games in the pipeline, I bought a few I knew would be good at launch, or some point (Armored Core as well) when I was flush with cash. Future me is rarely treated well by past me :D

We have a long weekend right around the time it comes out, can't wait to lose myself in a new Bethesda style IP.

How do we multiclass again/where does the choice happen? Can we do that for party members too? It feels forever ago that I started my character up.

I think I'm just a straight up Fighter.

I'm wondering if I missed out, or If I just stuck with straight up fighter intentionally lol

I think there is a multiclass button when you level up if you look for it, its small, like many of the buttons in BG3. I'm not multi-classing anything first playthrough but I'm pretty sure you can multiclass your entire party if you want to. Your fighter will get a "sub-class" one of 3 choices, I chose Eldritch and love it, but that isn't the same as multi-classing. Multiclassing would be like making your Barbarian also a sorceror.

This game's too complicated. I'm missing all the fucking time.

**Bethesada is in the corner seizuring at the thought of releasing a game outside of Beta**

Just imagine how mad they're gonna be when DLC comes out and pretty much everyone buys it. I know unless this game falls off a cliff I'll be buying any and all DLC day one.

This studio has been doing big things for years, they deserve it. Plus I'm sure it'll be stellar.

That's what I meant, subclasses, sorry.

I'm about to jump back in, def going to explore this, but looking into it, I might have chosen champion for my Fighter.

Thanks man!

Watch one of those 10 min combat tutorials on Youtube.

You should be able to get hit chance to 75% or higher most of the time on balanced difficulty.

I just found out Gale can use light armor and shields and I have no idea why.

Starfield will be great but but in true Bethesada fashion released with a massive amount of bugs as microtransactions

Don't even care. Bethesda games are GOTY material even with the bugs for a reason. Supposedly the delay till August from November was entirely to bug crunch but we'll see. Their games are so massive that bugs are unavoidable.

Yea I don't care about the bugs but in FO4 my save did get bugged to the point I couldn't continue the main story and that pissed me off. The character I needed to talk to would only sell me stuff and not give me the option to talk to her and continue the main quest line. It was on my PS4 on top of that so not even PC.

Larian did the right choice by releasing a Beta/alpha to the public. It helped quite a lot with Divinity OS 2 and it has now done so with BG3. It is usually an independent studio that does that but hopefully some other AAA company follows Larian lead and does that

Most AAA studios are terrified to early release because what they are making is so shit it will be exposed before they even get it to market. Refer to post #311 above for some data about how these major studios care about money, not games, and rather than put more money into the game they would rather pay their CEO $50,000,000 a year. We've been had for way too long with companies that don't care about gaming, they care about money.

Yea I don't forget who but one guy was like "they had 3 years EA!!!". As if releasing a game in EA is only available to special studios like Larian.

Shit I just bought FO3 on steam not long ago. It STILL doesn't work without modding it and fucking around with game files. Got it refunded. If a game that runs perfectly on my ancient 360 won't work without troubleshooting, then you guys can go fuck yourselves lmao.

Played around with it in early release and now that the game is fully released it's hard to pull myself away from it.
Running a 4 elements Monk
Astarion-respecced to Lore Bard
Shadowheart -respecced to life cleric
Karlach -respecced to Battle Master fighter (I hate laezel)
Totally loving the flow and the tons of exploration in the game

That's something Zenimax should have done for Fallout 76. They had to know it wasn't ready. Releasing as EA wouldn't have hurt the brand so much, but all they cared about were those big first week sales, total scummery!

Hopefully Larian is setting a standard that more studios will follow.

Seriously, though, how the fuck is Gale proficient with light armor and shields?
