Back tracked and gave it a shot again. Apparently I stopped at episode 17. Idk why I said ep 6. Anyway I gave it a shot- again - for the third time - and I find it more hilarious and ridiculous as it gets closer to the end. I remember a Dickson Gracie in the og series so I was pleasantly surprised to find Wanderlei (Dave) in it.





He even does the knuckle roll. My son recognized him.

For what it is though it's brutal as fuck. Whether it's hand to hand or weapons are involved it's gory as hell. I loved when that gangster in the 2001 series smashed his own arm into a bloody mess then beat his opponent with it lol.

Of course Blood C, Genocyber, Devilman, Violence Jack, Gantz, Berserk etc.. are all pretty brutal as well.
