Oh nice, are they still putting on a good show? Me and some friends were super into them in our teens and twenties. I’ve seen them live maybe…I dunno, 15 times or more. The first time was when they toured with Lords of Acid on the Sextasy Ball Tour in 1995, and the last time I saw them was maybe 2006 or so.

They always put on a great performance every time I've seen them, although I was too young to see them during their heyday. They've also always been the main attraction at every concert I've attended, so I'm still longing for the day I can see them tour with another major act. But as long as they're touring, I'll always be down to go.

They’ve been the headliners most times I saw them too, although aside from opening for the Lords, I saw them open for Ministry in 2004 I think it was. I should probably go see them again next time.

13 songs of the first year you remember ROCKING OUT !

1. Black Sabbath - The Wizard - 1971 or '72
2. Led Zeppelin - Immigrant Song
3. Guns n Roses - Welcome To The Jungle

In my early teens, I was into moody synth pop like Gary Numan and Ultravox. Then in 1987 I saw the light and started growing my hair. G n R were my gateway drug into metal

Great rock intro! At that time in life, was turnin' wrenches and in school, both full time. Got tickets for the Motley Crue's "Girls Girls Girls" tour in North Carolina.

Never heard of the opening intro band. This new to me band led off with a rocking tune of "Night Train".

This was the Guns & Roses "Appetite For Destruction" tour, what a F'n night!
