Trite, uninspired, corporate rock, spouting cliches glued together by lazy rhymes, over an instantly recognizable overused chord progression, with dynamics that are only surprising in how unoriginal they are. It’s not catchy because it’s good - it’s sticks to your ears like old chewing gum to your shoe.
