Bakers Dozen MUSIC Game

13 of the most iconic bands/musicians you've never listened to

1. The Grateful Dead - I can't name a single song of theirs, and I'm pretty sure I have no idea what they even sound like
2. Taylor Swift - Don't know if she is iconic yet, but she is obviously well known. I can honestly say I've never heard a single song by her and if I have it's been by accident.
3. Spice Girls
4. Miles Davis (Just never sought him out...)
5. The Velvet Underground (not counting one of their songs that was used on a car advert years ago, that I don’t know the title of, and can’t really remember how it goes…)
6. Kanye West - Don't know any song, why he's popular, or when he came out to the music scene. Only heard about him when the Taylor Swift VMA incident happen.
7.Ramones-don't get and that is fine with me
8. Backstreet Boys
9. Celine Dion
10. Janis Joplin
11. U2
12. Radiohead
13. Rush
*collective gasp from the entire country of Canada*

10. Bruce Springsteen - Nebraska

The (future) Boss recorded this song and the others that would end up being on the album of the same name on a 4-track recorder. The original intent was to rerecord these demo tunes with the full E-Street Band, but he released them in their original form. The tunes are raw and haunting. A fabulous record. Highest recommendation.

I agree 100%. It's my favorite album of his, and as many great songs as he has on other albums, this one is all killer (pun intended since the title track and a number of other songs on this album are about bad people doing bad things). In a personal note, "My Father's House" legit made me rethink my relationship with my dad.
