Bader is a free agent with a few fights left and UFC HW is a mess

LHW is such a joke that old men Bader and Corey Anderson have a much better chance becoming champ today than when they were in their primes, like Glover Teixeira.
Thats why bellator declined +-twice champ vs champ fight -Jiri vs Bader? Then tried to snatch Jiri by offering him long contract with huge amount of money. Jiri counteroffered with one fight contract for title. > Jiri wanted to take bellator title and go into UFC as double champ. Bellator owner(i dont remember his name) so i will call him jabba hut - then released video stating that Jiri is bad and will horribly fail in UFC and that he wouldnt stand chance vs Bader…rest is history. Btw corey rather left to bellator than accepting fight vs Jiri. - Check DC’s interview shortly after Corey left…:D

So i dont agree with what u are saying.

Lewis by KO within 2 minutes. Bader has never had a good chin and now he's 42 with even more KO losses and damage.

It only makes sense if Bader wants more pay days and doesn't care about CTE...and the UFC wants give some guys highlight reel KOs.
Feels like Bader was on TUF just a few years ago. How is he already 42? I feel old now.

I'd be more interested in watching a youtube of him enjoying his retirement than to watch him fight any more.

I don't care to watch aging MMA fighters. Great if they win, but it's a built in excuse when they don't. It's pointless for them & the risks start compounding after 40...

To be fair even if they thought he had a 70% chance of winning they'd have been retarded to risk their champ to a guy on a one fight deal.

Absolutely, but look at it from Jiri's point of view. Bellator/Scott Coker had atleast twice opportunity to make Bader vs Jiri after Jiri "cleaned out Rizin roster". He did not cuz he was most likely scared of Jiri beating Bader. - Jiri wanted two fights - Cro-Cop and Bader. He instead got Maldonado and C.B Dollaway...

So Jiri told him that he wants to fight best competition and best competition is UFC, not Bellator and declined high bid offer. Only what Jiri cared for was getting Bellator tile, but it was not priority...UFC title was priority. Cooker than got mad and started blasting Jiri on social media and mma portals. How he never wanted Prochazka, how is Prochazka overrated, how Prochazka have 0 chance in UFC...and how they offered him contract only as favor to Rizin, etc...

BTW Jiri should be speaking about these negotations with Coker/Bellator in last video of "The way" series if my memory is correct.

Yeah I agree Coker was being a bit childish badmouthing him after he didn't sign but I can see why they didn't risk Bader against him.

Man he was being straight up dummy with 90% of things he did. He could've easily dominate Europe as OKTAGON / KSW do now...but instead he was overpaying "burned out" UFC fighters and competing with UFC. On otherside arguing with Bellator "hardcore fans" here on sherdog back in 20/21 was very funny entertaiment...

You're on some wild Worldwide Forum drugs.
Ya and I bet if Bader was still in the UFC you'd be saying different things so you're drinking the company koolaid, fact is this UFC HW division is the weakest I've ever seen in the history of the company I would even go as far to say UFC HW division in 1998 would destroy these guys they currently have, Bas Rutten, Pedro Rizzo, Kevin Randleman etc, beat these guys imo.

Bader is 42 and just appeared in the smashing machine.
Yet he has only 140k followers.
So the UFC won't pay him much and he will decline their terrible offer.

He's fighting in RIZIN on NYE. His future probably depends on the outcome of that fight, and he's fighting a big dude, who fits his frame, and is on gear, so a win is not a given.
he's gonna be 43 by the time he will be ready to fight again anyway.

Pass.

Most likely a casual win for Soldatkin, and RIZIN hoping Oscar-nominated actor Ryan Bader brings a few extra eyes to the card

Hw is a mess. We have a dude heel hooking guys within a month and bragging about it and changing their nickname
That’s how bad it is

No, I wouldn't be calling Bader a potential Top 5 HW if he came back to the UFC. You're the one drinking Worldwide, Anti-UFC Kool-Aid.

Late 90s guys in their primes are very different than an ancient, chinless Bader who probably can't wrestle that well either these days. Your back and knees tend to go after a few decades of wrestling. Look at Askren when he was only like 34.

With that said, Randleman was a 0.500 career fighter (17-16) and lost almost off of his important fights. He wouldn't do well at HW where he'd be undersized, and wouldn't sniff the LHW belt either. Bas would be interesting, but he'd also fit in better at LHW and would be dwarfed by someone like Aspinall. Rizzo would be the most interesting of the 3, though he often lacked aggression. I'd still like to see him vs. a modern striker like Gane, Aspinall or Volkov, though, and have mentioned that before.

Bader has like a 90% chance of beating Black Beast, even by KO.

Lewis has a harder right hand.

It would be a bad business decision to not pick up Bader when he's a free agent.
