I understand it's not strictly to make them look better in the eyes of men, and that plenty of women do it for themselves.

Kinda like working out-not everyone does it to make themselves look more attractive to the opposite sex. Many just want to get healthy/feel better for themselves and no one else.

But are you gonna tell me that women that get the platypus look do it for themselves?

Take a young woman who looks up to someone like Kylie Jenner. She may think that big lips are beautiful and trendy and not have any man in mind when she is injecting her lips. She is doing it to reflect what she considers to be beautiful. Women with eating disorders don't do it for their partner its their own weird shit in their head.

Personally my mom has had 2 face lifts, my sister has had rhinoplasty, and my little sister is going to get her breasts made bigger on Friday.

I'm happy to support them if it makes them feel better about themselves. Its a personal choice and I am cool with it.

I get botox. I love it. I'm only 31 but I have a big wrinkle in the middle of my forehead that looks like shit so when its botoxed its gone and I look my age and not 41.

So anyway there is a broad (no pun intended) spectrum and I for one think if you love to look like a freak go for it.
