Hope the superbowl books my main women’s Karol g next year. Or maybe that big fat explosive guy who doesn’t wear a shirt. All the 60 year old white guys will be mad they didn’t book Willie Nelson instead lmao.
I aint watched the Super Bowl in decades but if they get that little hot ass Becky G out there wiggling around then I'll tune in, you can count on that, Jack!
Na nobody wants to see that. We need Paul McCartney.. that’ll attract some new viewers.

This 100%. I hated the halftime show b/c I couldn't understand anything he said. I didn't like the Kendrick Lamar and all the rap show either. BUT, NFL already has me. I'm a 48 year old white guy who watches NFL religiously. They don't care about making me happy with a halftime show. The people wondering why Metallica or some other old band weren't chosen to perform need to realize that they are already Football fans and won't stop watching Football because they couldn't relate to the guy singing at the halftime show. You've bought in, the NFL doesn't need to do much to keep you watching games. Sports organizations want young people to watch and care so they can keep making money in the future. Many of you will be dead in 30 - 40 years. Gen Z kids will be in theirs 50s or 60s, and for the NFL, hopefully still watching and buying stuff as they market the product to whatever the kids of the future like. Look at how NASCAR has marketed to young people so hard to the chagrin of their established, older fanbase. Look at how the UFC is obsessed with social media and creating WWE-esque moments that can be squeezed onto Tik Toks to get the casuals and the kids interested. It's not rocket science

Super Bowl hafltime show is for them to make non-NFL fans tune in, hence, Usher, Gaga, Bunny, Weeknd, etc. It really sucks b/c it feels like a slap in the face to true NFL fans to have some shitty show at halftime of the biggest game of the year, but I understand the business model.
Same with stuff like F1. Nobody in the US cared for the longest time. Then they put the Netflix series on, start making it a huge deal in Miami and make a massive Vegas show. It's all about expanding your marketshare, not catering to your core market.
Oh, I thought Bad Bunny show was awful. Hated it, left the room to clean up until it was over. I'm actually more upset that the game suckedd donkeys though. Man, that game was brutal to watch.
Ya, they probably do listen. I was more talking about 45+ white dudes sitting around loving football. I don't think a lot of them listen to stuff like Usher. My point still stands though, the halftime shows are meant to bring in more people who might not normally watch NFL. It's for those people who watch literally 1 game a year, the SuperBowl. You think "true NFL fans" dont listen to Usher?
This would work
Most of us want lyrics you understand.
I could understand what he was saying and also ricky Martin did sound better he is a far better vocalist. So I actually watched the show. He has the mic inside his mouth or at least his lips are encircling it most of the time. No wonder he sounds mumbly. Saying a native Spanish speaker cannot understand him is a huge overstatement, even I did understand some and my Spanish is beginner level at best.
Overall that's pretty average articulation for 2026, thanks, mumble rap! Ricky Martin and Gaga sounded incomparably better, of course.
My overall thoughts:
1) Whole show seemed inappropriate for Super Bowl. The show was 100% focused on Latino culture and hand-egg is not a Latino favorite sport. Also, all of it being in Spanish is just weird. Should have used this show for Copa de Libertadores opening or something.
2) The show itself was well produced and performed. Scenography, performance and dancing were on point. Filming was very good. People performing the dances were actually good looking and could dance.
3) Bad Bunny is not a bad reggaeton singer. I despise the genre as a whole, but it's not like Bad Bunny is incompetent in particular. He is no worse (and maybe better) than Daddy Yankee or other popular artists in the genre.
I could under stand him I'm of Mexican descent. It is harder to understand colombians because they have a deeper slang catalog.Believe me other Spanish speakers cannot understand Puerto Ricans or Dominicans when they speak. Album of the year (for political not artistic reasons) but he’s still trash tbh. Maybe the gen z kids like him, but I don’t get it.
European culture will never recover after that halftime show.Never heard to guy's music before and didn't even bother watching the halftime show. I heard him from another room and wasn't impressed. I speak Spanish by didn't pick up much of what he was saying. Also I feel like you hear one reggaeton song you've heard them all.
Coked up bruno mars was the best version.Ya, they probably do listen. I was more talking about 45+ white dudes sitting around loving football. I don't think a lot of them listen to stuff like Usher. I understand why they don't trot out Metallica (though they are pretty universal) or old country singers or classic rock bands.
For the record I thought the Bruno Mars show was absolutely fantastic!! Loved it!
