I usually don’t watch the Super Bowl anymore. Watched them all from Super Bowl 31 to about 37 or 38 but over the last 20 years or so have only caught about 3 or 4. I think I watched if with my wife and kids two years ago because my wife and daughter wanted to see what all the fuss was about with Travis Kelce as they’re huge Swifties or whatever.

I’ve never heard of Bad Bunny before all the controversy of him being the halftime show. I actually will be watching the game this year as I’ve recently joined a poker group a few months ago of guys that like to play during sporting events so we’ll be playing tomorrow and watching the game. Guess I’ll get to see what this Bad Bunny guy’s all about.

I know......why isn't this down in the music forum, well, obviously it's not really about music if it were then Bad Bunny ism't involved.

Hell, I listen to Peanut the Kidnapper, Cedar Creek Shiek, BEHEMOTH, Talula Tarantuala, Godsmack, but I understand the words.

My first thought was fuck this bullsht won't be watching, then the guy.....ICE OUT....at the Grammy's now I have to watch to see what happens which sucks.

Roger Goodell is the problem. He's turned the NFL into a frankenstein's monster-level abomination. The shit is unrecognizable from what it should be. I wish they'd take it back to how it was in the 70s-90s. That's the kind of football I want to see. Not this shit how it is now.

As for the halftime show, I want to know why it's almost always terrible. Why not bring in some actual decent rock bands, or solid singers in general, with decent talent and without political messaging and liberal activism? It's mostly Rap, hip hop, or offshoots of that, with political messages. Or trash like Lady Gaga, Beyonce, and Katy Perry.

The last time I can remember the halftime show being good was maybe Prince? He was great, but I'm struggling to think of ones around him who were also good. Timberlake? Cold Play? I think they were passable but not nearly as good as Prince.

As is, I'll watch the game, mainly because it's a time of gathering for friends, but when halftime comes, I'll be muting the TV if not changing the channel outright.
