Back in High School, we had 16k pet computers in our computer lab.

lolz I used to play games on my uncles pc he loaded via cassettes.

I remember when the after the 5.4 floppy they made the smaller one with larger memory.
Yeah this thread got me wondering how old the average poster was lol. I had a home pc from an early age. I’m in my 30’s now. My dad had some games on floppy disk, but those were outdated even back then, and we didn’t even have a reader for it. I do remember using the hard disks a little, but those were going extinct when I was a kid. I remember current games as a kid being on CD

The first time I got to use a computer was when I was in grade 7. We learned to use a program where you programmed a turtle to make shapes. It looked something like this:

The computers looked like this:

wow that turtle game. what an obscure memory. I remember that so vaguely

Did anybody say uphill snowstorm yet?

That's a bit of an exaggeration, in my case, if I'm being honest. Everyday after I'd completed my assignment at the computer lab a stegosaurus would bully me into this naturally occuring time-warp that sent me directly back into the previous day whereupon I would discover, of course, I had yet to begin my computer lab assignment.

Fucking stegos, man.

Am I right?

Hahahaha ya fuck I went to school in the 80s and 90s I remember the computer "labs" fuck
We would go to the computer lab before school to play Oregon trail.

I always just bought ammo and went hunting.

That and Number Munchers

I also remember playing some fish game where you would eat other fish to become bigger and bigger but I forget the name.
Sounds like evo but im almost positive its not evo for snes. Number munchers was the bees knees!
