I wonder if this shitty Marxist study even attempted to address the fact that babies feel overall more secure around people who share similar physical characteristics with their parents, with skin color only being one of the determining factors, among many attributes. A stranger with features other than what the baby is used to, will lead to the child feeling anxiety, this much is common sense. We are speaking about a human being introduced to unknown concepts for the very first time in his life.

Are we supposed to "re-educate" the babies out of the natural instinct to cling onto their parents for safety, and to feel comfortable around them, so that they will become more accepting of strangers? This is some Soviet-level "experimenting" here. Legit KGB-style pseudo-scientific justification for taking babies out of the hands of their parents and "engineering" them to become more docile and helpless in a fucked-up society.

There are people whos job it is to find something to use in order to advance the Marxist ideology. They could 'apply critical theory' to a bowl of corn flakes and write a paper on how it is all tied in to white privilege and the structural racism and oppression inherent in Western society.

It's not a conspiracy, much like the Frankfurt school being Marxist is not a conspiracy. It is what it is.

The actual study just refers to racial bias, but processed through the click-bait media it turns into outright racism. Racial bias is not racism.

A social psychologist did this stud. The overwhelming majority of social psychologists are marxists. So most likely it is a study done by a marxist. Sorry if the facts upset you?
 
As soon as the word "racist" changed meanings from "harming others based on their inferiority" to "liking/preferring your own race" I'm pretty sure everything and everyone became racist.

Pseudoscience isn't immune to society's word games.

I would wager most aren't, however faculty chasing tenure and students chasing recommendations tend to toe the line. That line -- no matter how ridiculous -- is usually drawn by some "star professor" who markets themselves via asinine marxist feelgood ideas for broad appeal and the convenient scapegoat of whitey. It's the "so brave" phenomenon, where the person saying the most cowardly PC shit the loudest and in the edgiest ways is heralded as a hero. With all the high-profile KKK assassinations going on and whatnot.

In this case the journalists are perpetrators, interpreting a study on infant genetic preference as evidence that they lack "innocence", in turn implying that repression of natural kinship instincts is some sort of virtue.

My brother asked a woman "why are you black?" at a doctor's office when he was like 3. My mom was embarrassed but the woman laughed it off and read him a children's magazine. He wasn't racist, and he actually already had a black neighbor who was his best friend, he was just a tiny child asking a question out of genuine curiosity. The woman handled it like any mature person would.

Lol. Yeah, that baby sure doesn't look white or anything. I usually consider you pretty intelligent but if you're too naive to think that these studies aren't subtlety aimed at white babies (or as other studies have shown not so subtle) then I don't know why to tell you.

That's also not racism. Kids do not give a shit what color anyone is.

Even in the 60's in North Jersey (mostly black, lots of Italians, lots of racial tension) my dad said all the little white and black kids played together and were best friends until they were like 13-14 and had to pretend not to like each other anymore in high school.

Racism is a ridiculous thing.
