Finally nice to hear a BJ Penn story on here that isnt about him being an absolute dickhead.
but I'm glad he made it through. That sounds like a really effed up way to die.
and he's probably right. His experience as a fighter probably helped him get through it. People go into panic mode and make things worse when they end up in tough situations. But BJ has obviously dealt with tough situations being a fighter so he has a little more resiliency than the average person to deal with a situation like the one he described.
How did he get out? You'd think someone would have known he went missing and shut the wave machine down? Seems like it would be a dark area too so imagine not being able to see where you are and which way is up
