It's not knowledge she wants Thanos to not have. She knows something about him that would get her killed if he knew she knew. She heads straight there because they need to get the stones or everyone dies.

So it's avoid Thanos and die or go to Thanos and maybe live but most likely die.
it is knowledge she doesnt want him to know ..... its the location of the soul stone

but the rest of your post is still correct

Anyone that doesn't give this movie an 8 or up would definitely be in the wrong half of the universe if I had all 6 stones. Luckily I only have 2!

They didnt say it in the movie, but my take is that Hulk isnt coming out because he got fucking smashed by Thanos. He got full on Holly Holmed and now he has the purple pillow in front of his face.
I'm not completely sold on this theory. He may not want to come out for fear of losing control.

This. I think he was in shock that someone actually just flat out overpowered him as he's not used to that. Yeah he got pounded a few times in the past by Thor and Tony in the Hulkbuster but maybe it didn't hurt as much as Thanos pounding the shit out of him or something. And he was never completely out in those fight but against Thanos it look like he was flat out KOed.

My prediction : Hulk will come back after he watch Black Widow dies in Avengers 4 and will go on an absolute rampage. I also think he will eventually get his rematch with Thanos.

He may just need to be off earth and away from civilization before he can come out again. There is bound to be an enormous amount of rage built up after that beating from Thanos. I think we saw Hulk fleshed out enough in Ragnarok to believe he knows what will happen if he gets into a fight with Thanos or any bad guys on earth at the moment.

Future vs Field Trip: when Spiderman enters the fray I'm pretty sure he says he came from a field trip. There aren't many opportunities for him to say he came from the future until he gets the metal suit -- like when he's using Dr. Strange's teleportation portals to knock Thanos off-kilter, but here I only remember him saying "....Magic ... magick with a K."

I'm not saying that it's impossible the seeds to the Avengers' victory are already in motion -- it's even likely -- but I'm not sure where he would have said "the future" if indeed he did.

INFINITY WAR also has the right level of clever quips that foreshadow events to come without being too cute. Someone already mentioned how Ned creates a distraction by saying "WE'RE ALL GONNA DIE," there's also Rocket's rejoinder, "I have a lot to lose." The funny becomes the maudlin -- nice going, INFINITY WAR.

Hulk afraid of losing control?
{<huh}
Hulk isn't some mindless beast. In Thor Ragnarok, Hulk explicitly says that he didn't want to return to Earth because he knows that Earth hates him. This is the same Hulk that jumps on Surtur without a second thought because he sees a big monster. The "Holly Holm" analogy is entertaining, but doesn't make complete sense. Especially when you consider the previous movie that Hulk is actually in (in a fully coherent, speaking role on top of that).

The thing about this explanation is it kinda shits on thor ragnarok. He was clearly in control of hulk the whole movie and all of a sudden cant transform to him? Not only that but he could have just put himself in harms way and had to transform like in the last 3 movies. It was kinda a weak non excuse for them to not use him so he wasnt over powering everyone.

He does walk offscreen when the Hulk attacks and then reappeara before dying ignobly.

I wouldn't be shocked if he was dead but treachery is his schtick, after all.

maybe he did use his "powers" after all..

Well the decision of him not coming out ca be questioned i guess but i think it's pretty clear that it's because of the beatdown he got at the hands of Thanos at the beginning of the movie

I think they want to build is comeback for Avengers 4 so that when Banner eventually transform into the Hulk again people will be like "Yes finally !!". It's a classical ploy to hype and make people anticipate a character return.

Theory time:

How do you guys think Nebula and Tony get off of Titan? My only guess is Thor uses the bi-frost or some how Nebula's ship she used to crash into Dad is still functioning.

Starlord's ship is there somewhere. Nebula will fly them to Earth or elsewhere.

Thor's relationship with his hammer is inconsistent. RAGNAROK firmly establishes his over-dependence on Mjolnir, to which Odin reminds him he is not the god of hammers. But of course INFINITY WAR goes the other way by saving Thor's life by just holding Stormbreaker.

I will say that I did appreciate the Alex Ross inspirations. RAGNAROK shorn cuts like lightning into his hair, and here the discs on his tunic are CGI'd with storms-in-motion.

I mean we all know there is a part 2, but the Russos were right when they said this could be a standalone movie.
This was Thanos' movie. The movie ends with him accomplishing his goal. The bad guy won this time
Roll credits.
I agree...completely. Had this been a stand alone/none canon movie, this would have been one of the greatest comic book movies of all time. I was just waiting for the moment someone from the Avengers team suddenly swaps in cracking jokes and somehow stopping Thanos from getting the stone and ending the movie on that note-Thanos fails but tries again the second one. Feigie and whoever oversaw the production of this movie deserves a fucking pay raise. Quips aside, there's really not much to complain about in this movie. It really feels like they let the Russo bros do their thing with this.
