I think I need help. I saw this movie 3 times already, once on each day since it has opened. I'm probably good for a while now. Either see it once more in Imax or wait for the bluray. Awesome movie.

My man! High five!!!

Did u happen to see the 3D version in one of your viewings? It wasn’t shot in 3D but some of those scenes seem 3D worthy...

I loved doctor strange in 3D.. that was done perfectly IMO.

Hold off on the box office figures. Right now, it's 50/50 that it might beat Star Wars outright.
Based on the international numbers it will probably do at least 1.6-1.8 billion grand total.
Worth the marketing costs.

Honestly if it gets near Force Awakens it deserves massive credit, that film had the hype of the first direct return(the prequels not featuring much of the originals) to arguably the most culturally significant film series of all time after 30 years.

Its clearly going to be somewhat front loaded as well but I do think has the edge in being a superior film by some way likely to get a lot of rewatches. Again that's another advantage of not just going "biggest" as that kind of film tends to be less rewatchable.

I haven't yet, probably going to take a break for at least a week. I'll probably see it in imax 3d before it leaves imax though. Concerned that Deadpool might replace it.

I think the scene where Thanos is torturing Nebula might be cool in 3d, the way her mechanical parts are laid out like that.

I saw it in 3D and loved the extra layer of immersion one gets from it.

IMAX has more screen too, but 3D IMAX no es bueno. Leeches color.

Either i didnt give a shit about it or you guys are schooled as shit...

How the fuck do you guys remember thanos's henchmen names?!

A lot of us read the comic books, although the MCU is getting to the point that might not be relative soon.

My daughter, who is 9, cried for like 10 minutes when Spiderman died. It got her real good.

My youngest daughter is crushing on Tom Holland. She was not okay at the end of the movie. I had to explain to her there was no way the Spider-Man cash cow was dead permanently.

With the way they protrayed Thanos, I'm surprised not a single person tried to reason with him. This wasn't The Mad Titan from the comics. This Thanos was set up to be a villian you have empathy for. The Russo brothers even admitted as much. They straight up made him 100% sincere in his motivation.

It was his pleading that did it for me. As a child. That was a good choice.

To be fair though it setup a situation where we the audience could see more of that side of him but the heroes more obviously took the view of him as a power hungry monster.

Maybe the sequel will be 2 hours of existentialist population and resources discussions.

yup, thats what got me too. Tom Holland sold the shit out of that lol

he sacrificed the only person he loved to do it, there was no reasoning with him

seeing the hulk punk out got my feels more than seeing bug boy disappear. <DCrying>
Hopefully he comes back like Rocky did vs Clubber Lang in the rematch. Thor needs to help Hulk get back the eye of the tiger imo...

There was no changing his mind regarding his motivation of wanting a balanced universe. But his actual solution would have been easy to argue from a pure logic standpoint.

yeah that was weird, at the end of Thor he's ready to take on Firelord Surtr, then within the first 5-10 minutes of IW he gets bitchslapped and no-shows the rest

my girlfriend wasnt happy about that, she loves Hulk

I disagree, I thought he made it clear that in his mind he knew better..... and only he had the will to do it.

just my take though
