Maybe the sequel will be 2 hours of existentialist population and resources discussions.

Lol, it would of taken maybe 1 minute to explain it. There are some pretty "smart" characters we're talking about here.

Can we talk about Josh Brolin?

I used to laugh at this puke but dammit if he doesn't foot the bill every time.

Just when I think he's nothing but a good ole boy Texan, he nails a sympathetic George Bush and convincing TLJ. Thanos is nearly Shakespearean.

She always has been.

I thought Brolin looked too CGI in the trailers and I was worried as hell. But the actor nailed it, as did whoever made him look so damn real. It was perfect. Thanos CRIED and the scene was PERFECT!

yeah that was weird, at the end of Thor he's ready to take on Firelord Surtr, then within the first 5-10 minutes of IW he gets bitchslapped and no-shows the rest

my girlfriend wasnt happy about that, she loves Hulk
he needs a cycle of super soldier serum and that Wakandan purple herb for the rematch.

Attention:

The spoiler box moratorium has been lifted one day early. Meaning you can post spoilers without using the spoiler box if you want.

THANOS WINS! HEROES LOSE!! MUAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!

On a more serious note, is it bad that I totally agreed with Thanos' reasoning for doing what he did? Wiping out 50% of everyone to insure survival sounds good to me, does that make me a bad person lol

If you promise to make me the thanos meteor A.V. then yes.. I’ll rock whatever pic you offer as payment...
damn... thats solid commitment lol

Leading up to this movie the only spoiler like images I have seen is Dragons avatar, Thanos punching iron man, and cap grimacing while pushing back against Thanos hand and Thanos look of surprise.

I fucking loved this movie. Will be watching a few times.
Ive watched a cam version about 5 times since seeing it at the cinema, Im going back to the cinema to watch it again tomorrow..... I think Im addicted lol

Yeah, it's a fantastic performance. At some points you're almost rooting for Thanos.

Just finished it. Waiting for post credit scene. Couldn’t have done anything better. Amazing movie everything I could have hoped for.

What it really comes down to more is I'd say character, when people say "too CGI" often they don't mean its bad technically but that its used to create something bland.

I mean Gollum from over 15 years ago is still arguably the gold standard for CGI characters dispite obviously being more limited technically.

Part of the problem I think is that studios tend to think "well its CGI the casting doesn't really matter".

Holland was inspired casting. Absolutely kills the role of Spidey:cool:
agreed, this version is the closest to the spidey of the comics any movie has ever been(of the other Spider-man franchises). I just knew if Marvel got the rights back they could do him justice, and as you said Tom Holland was an inspired choice

this is the most disciplined I've ever been. Stopped interacting with the thread and avoided all discussion/ spoilers after the last trailer.
I think it made a huge difference. Completely loved this movie.

With the way they protrayed Thanos, I'm surprised not a single person tried to reason with him. This wasn't The Mad Titan from the comics. This Thanos was set up to be a villian you have empathy for. The Russo brothers even admitted as much. They straight up made him 100% sincere in his motivation.

It felt a little like they borrowed from Galactus's storyline. Not complaining, just an observation.
