Ack, too many backlog posts to read (I'm still in #602). I'll try to read all of them later.

Or once everything is figured out they have the full usage and rights to Galactus and the Silver Surfer.

the arm as well presumably...morbid though that sounds.

The shot of all the remaining Rogers crew, including Rocket, looking despondent while War Machine is like, "What happened?" was some heavy shit.

Nope, arm went the way of the Barne of Bucks.

Well I dont think they cared too much about collateral damage in this movie compared to something like civil war

Let me ask you this

Why doesn't Thanos just go to Earth himself and get the stone?

Why the Children of Thanos...Why Putties?

It all leads to Thanos just coming to Earth himself anyways
How did you come to this conclusion?
What happened in Avengers 2 was the beginning of the end for the team as they knew it. The Sokovia incident brought about the events of Civil War that broke up the team.
They obviously don't want to put civilians in harm way.

They also had no idea that an army was coming for them.
All they knew about was the 4 guys from The Black Order. The Order were after Vision--they needed to put Vision in a safe place, and the safest place was Wakanda.

There are 6 stones. Thanos can only be in one place at a time. He wasn't just sitting around doing nothing, he was getting the elusive Soul stone, while waiting for the time stone to be brought to him. Why would it be strange for him to send his best warriors to get what he needs?

And lol at Putties. They incapcitated 2 of the strongest of Earth's heroes immediately. Vision was immediately taken out of play, and Strange was taken prisoner by those "putties".

For Putties I think he was talking about the "Dogs of Thanos" which shouldn't be called that they were relentless. If Thor didn't show up their sheer numbers would have overwhelmed the heroes.

they are based on the outriders from the comics..... although in IW they were grunts, in the comics they were assassins and scouts

After Daredevil season one, I used to think that the Defenders appearing in the MCU movies would be cool. But after a string of dull shows like Luke Cage, Jessica Jones, Iron Fist and the Defenders, I'm glad that these Netflix superheroes are banned from the MCU movies. The only Marvel TV characters that are worthy of gracing the big screen for me are from Agents of SHIELD.

There’s only one Agent worthy. Son of Coul.
