Asgard is the realm of the Aesir gods in Norse Mythology..... so Id imagine they have at least some powers. But not anywhere near the level of Thor

the distress signal at the start of the movie does say they are just civilians though, depends on what Asgardians consider civilians

But Earth Myths are based on the "Space Vikings " after multiple times they saved Humans in th ose primitive times. So you could make the case some magic myths were really based on real magic

I predict that someone even worse than Thanos, someone truly EVIL to the core, that loves nothing , will try and get the stones and maybe a a new gauntlet. Someone like Dormammu or Red Skull. They are truly more frightening that Thanos imo and Dormammu is a dark entitiy that feels no love for anyhing and feeds off negative energy and pain. Red Skull is just a fucking nazi lol.

It will probably take some time to reflect and I want to see it again, but I have it in the top 3/4, easy and it may go higher than that.

Yes. All Asgardians possess superhuman strength, durability and stamina. The average lifespan of an Asgardian is several thousand years.

There's a recurring character in Agents of Shield who appears to be a small, middle-aged man. He's actually an Asgardian who was drafted to fight in a battle hundreds of years ago, and liked earth so much he decided to stay. One of the Agents proves this by attempting to stab him. The Asgardian casually grabs the blade with his bare hand and crushes it like an empty soda can.

Well, just got home from finally seeing it. Totally awesome. Not sure it's really worthy of a 10/10 but I'll vote that anyway. My #1 MCU movie so far.

Are we past spoilers now?

If so, I'm left wondering one lingering question:

Why wasn't this shot in the film?

I've seen the Idea pitched that Thanos has been influenced by such a being and that half the souls Elimnated would provide the power to bring Annihilus to this existence.
