I don't understand this. It's pretty easy to steer clear of anything superhero related if you don't any part of it. I must be 1 of 10 people in my office department who are all over anything MCU related.

As I keep saying to those who think a trailer is a complete view of a scene they are often not. they are often scenes nit together from various points in the movie that have nothing to do with one another.

So you are right. The scene where Thanos is jumping in and doing the GSP superman punch at 1.44 and the scene where you see Cap grab his hand at 1.45 and the scene at 1.49 where you see Cap straining and his eyes locked are not congruous. They are likely three completely different scenes from different points.

The scene of Thanos jumping appears to be on that other planet where he’s fighting Iron Man and Spider-Man et al. While Cap n’ crew are in Wakanda.

I thought this was so obvious I've been extra confused as to why people thought Cap was blocking a punch from Thanos.

Are some of you not really noticing the different backgrounds?

Good point. I was reading the first posts about Cap blocking a Thanos punch and all I'm thinking is "why do they think he's blocking a punch just because he's holding two of his fingers...."
 
Thanos isn't crushing Thor's skull. He is holding it forward and forcing him to watch something.

My guess is he is forcing him to watch him kill Loki for failing in the first Avengers movie.

Loki gives him the tesseract, then Thanos kills him.

I'm guessing Loki dies within the first 15 minutes of the movie
 
Anybody hear about Disney's choice to only lift the embargo on the movie 3 days before it actually comes out?

This means 1 of 2 things imo:

A) They want it so hush-lipped that they don't want any spoilers getting out at all, even from the critics.

OR

B) They've seen the finished product and the movie is a hot mess.

I thought about that, however, the social media embargo is off Monday night and the reviews the next day. In this age of social media bad word spreads like wildfire. If it turns out to be a stinker, plenty of damage can be done in 3 days.

With the entire world seemingly waiting on pins and needles for reactions on the movie, everyone should know going in what they are getting.
