I don't quite understand this bit. How can Cap repel anything from Thanos if he has the power stone?

Is Thanos not even trying?

Same reason why he was able to move Thor's hammer. Nobody knows why that is exactly. Hopefully they don't kill him off and explore the reasoning and hopefully it's not just done for no reason other then having a cool scene.

I think people are making too much out of this.
In the same trailer Thanos has Thor's unconscious head in his hand,and he 1 punch KOs Iron Man.
I'm sure this is not an actual struggle for Thanos,and that there is more to this scene than it seems. Steve is the only one there struggling,and all he's doing is trying to keep Thanos' hand from closing . It's not like he's trading punches with him.

The magazine confirms that Proxima Midnight and Corvus Glaive head to Scotland to hunt down The Vision and the children of Thanos effortlessly give both him and the Scarlet Witch a beating. However, they're saved by some familiar faces; Steve Rogers, Black Widow, and The Falcon.

It's said that the fight scene is brutal and light on dialogue but Anthony Russo has a good explanation as to why that is. "We structured that scene more like a horror film. We try to give each sequence in the film a slightly different tone and concept, based on the characters driving that sequence."

While you might think that pitting an alien on the hunt for a powerful artefact against some of the world's most powerful heroes is easy, Justice League proved that isn't always the case. As a result, it probably won't surprise you that this crossed the minds of the movie's directors. "We probably spent five or six months exploring different narrative structures with this film," Joe Russo reveals. "We sat there very early on going, 'How the f*** do we tell the story of six MacGuffins?'"


It Really Isn't A Two-Parter

Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers 4 were pretty much shot back to back but co-writer Christopher Markus is quick to point out that it doesn't necessarily mean we're getting a two-part movie.

"We very explicitly did not want to do one big movie chopped in half," he says. "It's not part one and part two, because that implies that we split something down the middle. We don't want anyone to think that's what happens." So, there go all those theories about a cliffhanger ending.


It's Going To Be The Biggest Movie Ever

One thing the cast can all agree on is that Avengers: Infinity War is going to be a massive movie. "You put these people together, it's probably the biggest film of all-time," Benedict Cumberbatch (Doctor Strange) states before his fellow Englishman Tom Holland (Spider-Man) adds: "I don't know how big this film is. I only know it's probably going to be the biggest film of all-time."

Robert Downey Jr., on the other hand, has a slightly different take on the matter but agrees that Marvel's latest movie is definitely going to be a massive undertaking. "To me, it will never get more ambitious than getting out of a cave with Jon Favreau. But this is huge, isn't it? It is huge."


Black Panther's Success Doesn't Mean We'll See More Of T'Challa

Black Panther has been a huge critical and commercial success and some even believe that Avengers: Infinity War won't be able to match it at the box office. We'll have to wait and see on that front but when Joe Russo was asked if its success has led to a sudden increase in T'Challa, he made it clear that nothing has changed saying, "It doesn't change the agenda [Laughs]."


Avengers 4 Is A Very Different Sort Of Movie

Avengers: Infinity War has been described as a heist movie but Avengers 4 will head down a very different route. "It's the Question Mark film," Anthony Russo points out. "It's more of an epic adventure in the classic sense, with huge emotional stakes." That definitely sounds like a good route to take things down and points to these two releases not being even remotely similar.

As for those set photos pointing to time-travel playing a role, Joe once again pointed to Captain America: Civil War in regards to offering an explanation for those apparent flashbacks to The Avengers. "You should go back and look at clues in Civil War to what's in that movie," he teases.


There's A Very Good Chance Your Favourite Character Will Die

"The one thing that character deaths do is remind you that the world has stakes," Anthony Russo says when asked if we should expect to see casualties. "Death is a real possibility in the storytelling."

"Without question," agrees Joe. "Let's frame it this way - if the last ten years of the Marvel Cinematic Universe was a book, these would be the final chapters. It's called Infinity War and audiences should be prepared for a war." The question is, who will end up meeting their maker?


Josh Brolin Is Going To Steal The Show As Thanos

Everyone seems to be raving about what Josh Brolin brings to the table as Thanos and while we got a glimpse of his take on the villain in Guardians of the Galaxy, that clearly only scratched the surface. "Josh is terrifying," Tom Holland says. "He has to wear this stupid mo-cap costume with big, rolling polystyrene shoulders and a tennis ball two feet above his head. He looks ridiculous, but as soon as the cameras roll he becomes this nine foot tall, terrifying alien."

"I love him," concurs Robert Downey Jr. "Brolin doesn't take himself seriously, but there's a lot of weight in how he's portraying this guy. We literally are all a little bit scared when he's done cracking wise and steps into it. Get ready, brother. Tha Brolin Effect is coming."


The Movie Takes Place From Thanos' Point Of View

"The point of view in this movie is Thanos, which makes this a really unique film," co-director Joe Russo explains. "We want people to walk out of the theatre going, 'That is a bad man.'"

Thanos Is Stronger Than The Hulk

If you're expecting The Hulk to appear and save the day by giving Thanos a well-deserved beating, think again! "He's stronger than the Hulk," Joe Russo confirms. "He's more like Genghis Khan. He's a force of nature. He has a spiritual wisdom well beyond all the other characters. He is a conqueror of worlds. He doesn't have a weakness, and that's what makes him so threatening."


The Vision Battles The Black Order

The magazine confirms that Proxima Midnight and Corvus Glaive head to Scotland to hunt down The Vision and the children of Thanos effortlessly give both him and the Scarlet Witch a beating. However, they're saved by some familiar faces; Steve Rogers, Black Widow, and The Falcon.

It's said that the fight scene is brutal and light on dialogue but Anthony Russo has a good explanation as to why that is. "We structured that scene more like a horror film. We try to give each sequence in the film a slightly different tone and concept, based on the characters driving that sequence."


Meanwhile, In New York...

The other half of the Black Order - Cull Obsidian and Ebony Maw - are in New York City and are the ones responsible for that massive Q Ship hovering above the Big Apple. This leads to a confrontation between them and Tony Stark which sees him say, "You can't park here, buddy. Earth is closed today. Take your tractor beam and skedaddle." So, we can expect some trademark Iron Man wit!


Why Can't Bruce Banner Transform Into The Hulk?

According to the magazine, Bruce Banner is suffering from "performance anxiety" and that's why he can't transform into The Hulk. That presumably has something to do with the fact that if he transforms again, he could be stuck being the Jade Giant forever. Needless to say, this doesn't impress Tony Stark who turns to his Science Bro and says, "Don't embarrass me in front of the wizard!"
