He had the P4P most important screen time. Let's not forget that the Titan crew severely handicapped the Earth crew by giving Thanos the fourth and fifth stone (I'm counting Knowhere). And yes, the shields looked like shit. Though, he did land a nice combo on Big Poppa Thanos.

I love you like a brother, so it gives me no pleasure to say this,

Thor Odinson was the good guy's MVP and it's not even close. He pushed saved Cap from being gang-raped by the Out Riders, turned the tide in the Battle of Wakanda and pushed Thanos' shit in.

Hahaha Thor had way more screen time, though. I'm not denying he's the MVP. He clearly was. I'm saying P4P/S4S (second for second).

Pretty much everybody had a more memorable moment in Infinity Wars than Cap

Make a thread called "What are the most memorable moments from Infinity War" and see what ppl say

It'll be Thor's entrance, Cap's entrance, Why is Gamora, Tony's suiting up, and The Snappening/Spider Man's death.

Another potential stone that can literally overpower all the other stones.

Hopefully, Larson's just saying this is her estimation of how strong Captain Marvel is, rather than referring to an actual scene in the move.

Also, whoever designed that costume should be smashed repeatedly in the face with a full size replica of Storm Breaker. You do not cover up an actress with boobies as nice as Brie's.

Caps entrance? He came out of the subway shadows like a creepy homeless man, beard and all

Is that what he's been doing this whole time?

Standing awkwardly in a darkly lit subway?

We need that Ms. Marvel costume stat!

Hahaha well, he's had to stay underground because of the Accords.

I liked Cap's role in Infinity War if I'm being honest. Sure it was the least he's had to do in the three Avengers movies but they also had to build in screentime for a shit ton more characters. Cap's entrance got an absolutely huge ovation in the theater (second only to Thor making the save in the Battle of Wakanda) and he had some other solid scenes as well. The scene where the rogue Avengers reunite with Rhodie and Banner at the complex and discuss what to do about the mind stone was quality.

Cap also had cool moments in the Wakanda battle even if the shield did suck. I liked when he and BP jetted past everyone else when rushing toward the Outriders. Evans' delivery of the "I am Steve Rogers" line to Groot was also spot on.

One thing that I really liked on third viewing of the film was when he makes the save for Vision when he's getting murked by Corvus. Rogers bashes him up with the shield pretty good before getting worked himself. It was cool seeing Vision and Rogers work together to take Corvus out. Again, it played into the idea of how powerful the members of the Black Order are. In every instance except for Black Dwarf, you need multiple heroes to be able to put them away.

Moving planets is jump the shark level bullshit. I hope thats not true.

Maybe she will pull a Supes and reverse the rotation of the earth so that they can turn back time to before Thanos got the Mind Stone...

haha.

I just know the movie is going to be awesome. So amped for it and just hope spoilers don't get leaked blatantly.

I'm also looking forward to some more Thor/Rocket interaction. That was an awesome team up from IW.

When Rocket finds out all the guardians are gone he's going to have nothing to lose. Death Wish Rocket with that look in his eyes will be a hell of a thing.

Hoping it's good too but I'm worried about Miss Marvel. I know their track record but don't know if I'll dig her movie or her inclusion into this epic finale of sorts, it's the 11th hour and boom here's a new character nobody met with a significant role

I don't think so because Kevin Feige stated many times that she was going to be far and away the most powerful good guy in the MCU. Also Robot Downy Jr. stated as much in an interview he did with Captain America. They both stated that MCU was going to get a lot crazier with new enemies the likes that the current MCU has never faced. They did not talk about their departure other then Captain who said he was looking forward to the next stage of his life.

Larson is a very good actress and the standalone Cap Marvel movies is stacked with quality characters and actors from the MCU (Lee Pace, Djimon Honsou, Clark Gregg, Sam L.) so I think I'm confident in it working out.

You're right it's tough to throw a new character that none of the others have met in for an epic finale, but that's why I think it's an ideal time for them to bring back Coulson. The dude who all the original Avengers knew well revealing he's still alive and introducing them to Danvers would be awesome in my opinion. That's what I've hoped will happen since it was announced Gregg would be in Captain Marvel, but who knows how it plays out.

Captain America was my favorite in this movie. He made such an impact.....

Wow that sounds terrible just watched that video if this is avengers 4 fuck that.

It sounds like she going to takeover the mantel from Ironman Stark and that her powers are next level. In her description of her powers she can summon the power cosmic and also even summon a version of Galactus. Not sure if he is used to move planets but his powers are way up. This is the point where a lot of people may lose interest because part of the interest in these people are their powers not OP hers are OP.

coulson thing would be great

Personally I don't watch the TV shows

I mean .. it's just too much

I like to believe that the movies are just the movies and Coulson is really dead ... otherwise it really undercuts the original Avengers hard

This series already has problems with characters that seemilgly never die and a never ending sully of fake outs. And now there's a fucking glove that can bring anyone back!!! Which better be destroyed.

If Yandou comes back I'll be pissed too

Also Lee Pace doesn't support your argument, Ronin was one of the most tepid and bland badguy there is

They have to be careful, they don't want to crash into the ceiling of how powerful the goodguy can be if they want sustain this franchise.
