Exactly, DP2 would have knocked BP out the top spot. Then Solo right after. BP’s numbers will always be inflated in my eyes.

Nah, Shuri just reversed engineered a copy for fun
.

In her lunch hour:)

Also black panther also attracted a non comic book crowd. That was perhaps the most dreadful Openeing night I've ever attended . A lot of "Whose That " "I don't get it " on the row I was on .
Surely they wanted a non-compete crowd alongside the comic nerds? There's far more of the nons.

Came here to post that Thanos is Frieza (everything after Frieza saga isn't real DBZ)

Actually Thanos and Frieza are polar opposites as characters.

Frieza is one of the most deplorable characters ever written and Thanos really isn't.

Could you imagine Frieza wanting to better the Universe in some way? Yikes

Just noticed this is sitting at $1.918.0 billion after this weekend. Me thinks this will in fact hit that 2 bills mark.

To be fair Thanos' creator wanted him to be more like Metron as opposed to Darkseid.

Frankly, Thanos was a boring mustache twirler of a villain until his resurrection with the Infinity sagas. After that, he became very nuanched and interesting. Whatever he started out emulating he became something quite his own after a few trite conquer the universe plots.

The recent Thanos run in the last Fe years has been pretty good.

Honestly, I couldn't keep reading his stuff after the Annihilation wave. Love the character, but his writing just go so lazy in the period after that... Someone did give me some of the stuff from that arc based around the cancerverse and it made me throw up in my mouth a little. I will pick it up again soon I figure. Good to know it isn't a bleak future for Thanos.

Jeff Lemiere did a great job.

Dude cannot get a break first he had to deal with Thanos now he had to deal with 4 thugs. Did they not know who they where dealing with the man himself. :)

"Benedict Cumberbatch is reported to have saved a cyclist who was being attacked.

The actor, who plays Sherlock Holmes in the hit BBC series, is said to have rescued a Deliveroo rider who was being beaten up by a group of four people, it emerged on Friday night.

The Sun said Cumberbatch was in a cab on Marylebone High Street in central London with his wife, Sophie Hunter, when they saw the cyclist being hit over the head with a bottle.

The driver of the car, Manuel Dias, told the newspaper: “Benedict was courageous, brave and selfless. If he hadn’t stepped in, the cyclist could have been seriously injured. Here was Sherlock Holmes fighting off four attackers just round the corner from Baker Street.

“He stood there instructing them in the street, shouting, ‘Leave him alone.’ I had hold of one lad and Benedict another. He seemed to know exactly what he was doing. He was very brave. He did most of it, to be honest.”

According to the Sun, the actor said: “I did it out of … well, I had to, you know.”

A Deliveroo spokesman thanked Cumberbatch for his “heroic actions”."

Rumor just one of many.
Captain Marvel joins Thor and his army yes his army to go after Thanos. Apparently there are a ton of pissed off people in the universe including eternal's and all types of super beings including one Dormammu. Apparently even Dormammu wants a piece of Thanos but could be playing two face. This is the latest rumor and that hulk comes back to fight. It sounds like Captain Marvel may end up in a relationship with Thor if that is the case?

Marvel's late 00s reboot of their cosmic setting is quite possibly the best reboot of all time.
