That's pounds. Not dollars.

Hopefully Marvel stops fucking around by depowering everybody and they give us World Breaker Hulk and Odinforce Thor.

So, Liv Tyler has to be Death, right?

That would be awesome if they recast her as Lady Death.

Is the budget really £400 million? Wouldn't that make this the most expensive movie ever?

It would be rather entertaining to see him being mauled by Thanos

It would actually set the right tone and be perfect to have Thanos absolutely maul and embarrass Hulk in a 1 on 1 fight. I bet people would be shitting their pants after that. Especially if Hulk is shown to be enraged and giving it his all.

Richard Artimage wasn't buff enough as Francis Dolarhyde

Agreed. There should have been at least one scene in which Dolarhyde is shown Lifting, as there was in Red Dragon. Instead, they had him doing yoga.

It needs to Happen . I love the Hulk but Thanos should dominate, I hated how his name was thrown out too non chalantly in GOTG if anything people should have been terrified to even say his name.

This is why AoU was such a disappointment. In the Hulk v Hulkbuster fight, the ending could have been Hulk coming back to his senses and reverting to Banner. Instead, Stark knocks him out presumably which completely nerfs Hulk.

Just thoughtless writing.

Yeah not Whedon's best work , hope the Russo's get more freedom , and they write a more cohesive story .

This. In Avengers, Banner tells how he tried to kill himself,

I put a gun in my mouth...and the Other Guy spat the bullet out.

The Hulk can adapt to any threat, almost instantly. A`sucker punch from the Hulk Buster suit would simply enrage him and make him stronger, even if he was in the process of calming down and changing back to Banner at the time.

But RDJ is the MCU's biggest star, so they had to give him the, "win".

I'll echo what I've always warned about this movie:

If they fuck up Thanos' character, it'll be a shame. He isn't a typical mustache twirling villain....he is a philosopher, a scientist, a thinker, and even has a redemptive arc after the Infinity Gauntlet stuff. He is basically an anti-hero hell-bent on courting death and impressing her with feats of universe-wide slaughter.

He wants to reside in her realm.

As for the theatrical universe, he sees the Avengers as a way to get killed, because nobody else can do the job (so he can be with death) AND/OR sees them as a great way to prove to death that he is the number-one-killing machine.

Death is personified as a woman in the Marvel Universe, but she still stands for the natural process itself.

She's the ultimate bitch. Instead of allowing Thanos to die, and thus be with her, she "curses" him with immortality. So he can never be with the women he loves.

When Thanos finally became sick of being Cosmic Friend Zoned, she prick-teased him into falling for her once again. At one point she appears to him in the form of a small girl.

Death, "Do you find my appearance...discomforting?"

Thanos(refuses to look at her)"Yes".

Death, "Lesson learned, Thanos of Titan. I am Death; I am not off comfort."

haha yup. She is above him...he gets the gauntlet... And just when he commits a task so grisly as to win her affection in IG, she deems him now ABOVE herself....

She wouldn't look at him or reply to him firstly because he was below her, but then he was too above her status.
