I'm almost counting on something like this happening. Either Cap or Tony get killed but will be resurrected in the next one.

Infinity one will need a major dramatic ending scene ala Empire Strikes Back to get everyone wanting to comeback for No. 2 the following year.

Fair point. I said in the Spiderman: Homecoming thread that having Stark lecture Parker on the need to act responsibly was like Red Skull teaching a class on diversity and race relations.

Drax's power level fluctuates according the writer and needs of the story. Even at his highest level, I doubt he's in the same league as true Super-Heavyweights like the Hulk.

In the movies it's difficult to say, because like a lot of other MCU characters, including Thor, Drax is way below his comic book power level. That said, Ronan walked through him even before he grabbed an Infinity Stone, and I don't think he could have done the same to Hulk etc.

Exactly. Thanos kills half the known universe and pretty much every hero who stands against him. After that warm up, he gets serious: Thanos defeats the Cosmic Entities of Kaos, Order, Galactus, Eternity etc etc. Finally, Thanos's spirt leaves his body and trancendes to Godhood. While he's in this state, his daughter Nebula steals the Gauntlet and hits the cosmic reset button. All of the beings killed by Thanos are brought back to life.

Deus ex Machina FTW.
