To save the Universe of course

To increase their chances of winning. I think after getting shellacked by Thanos and Black Order in the first movie, the second one will feature Dormammu, and it will be Dormammu vs Thanos.

Thanos would just reality stone his tree face out of the normal universe.

After IW4 the setup should be the Galactus vs Celestial war

I didn't find it at the expense of anybody.

I don't think it was a joke on any Christians at all.

That's why I said "if anything".

Because the only type of person that I can think off, whose first reaction upon finding himself in Mexican standoff with aliens in a distant planet was to quote scripture, would be a Bible-thumping Evangelical.

And Quill is from Missouri, after all.

The success of this film is I'd say deliberately taking Thanos in the opposite direction of Dormammu, rather the threat being sold purely on mystical grandeur he's actually a very human character who presents a philosophical challenge.

The plot of the film is ultimately I'd say about showing the various characters different moral drives, Cap for example will never compromise his morals, Thanos on the other hand will compromise everything for what he views as the greater good, Thor is driven by revenge and a sense of destiny, Strange by a sense of duty to protect the stone/earth, etc.

Stark is driven by his need to protect people and things he cares about, no matter what the cost. Also, I suspect, by a subconscious desire to live up to his father's example.

He's also got the ptsd.

I think this film really stands out in comparison to recent Starwars in having the balls to follow though on its ideas, in the end Last Jedi basically ditches any depth it has and turns things into pure good vs evil.

The Russo's generally have been the ones who has always been trying to bring original Starwars/LOTR level depth to Marvel I'd say and I think they succeeded here, this film was very much in the tradition of something like Empire Strikes Back.

But I dont think that will hurt MCU Dormammu because he was trying to get into this Universe or pull this universe into his.
I still dont get why they would want the help of a big bad to fight another big bad? do you think Dormammu after helping(if he would even want to) is just going to high five everyone then go back to his own dimension? lol

the idea makes zero sense

Guarantee they’re never going to use or show Dormannu again. He was a pretty lame villain.

As far as him wanting a piece of Thanos what does he care if Thanos wipes out half the universe. Dormannu has his own universe so this shit doesn’t concern him.

I sure both Dormammu and Thanos be really weak after fighting. Much weaker and easier for mere mortals to handle.

She's spent all her time with English speakers for the past 3 years in-universe. It's perfectly logical for her English to get more fluent.
I know. Plus A super Spy is one of her fucking Mentors so it's plausible that it's safer to practice hiding her accent. I just thought this was a funny line said on a review.
