Drax and Mantis Killed me in this scene , when Mantis was so happy to see him , I was wondering f they were playing hide and seek or some shit

Everyone should know the rules by now. Anyone who keeps breaking them by posting spoilers too early deserves Dubs IMHO.

She's a great character. Fun addition to the guardians.

I think it was Just the Guantlet I think what he commanded the stones to do at that moment put a strain on the Glove

Mantis was excellent throughout.... it was just little touches that really stood out. Like when they find Thor and Star Lord says "game faces on" and if you see Mantis she instantly pulls what Id imagine she thinks is a scary face. the GotG are excellent together. Rocket was excellent again, his scene with Winter Soldier was brilliant as well "I am so getting that arm" lol

how did Thor rainbow beam into Wakanda with nobody to transport him?

Also is Stormbreaker stronger than the infinity gauntlet since Thanos shooting it didn’t stop it from slicing through him?

Honest question:

why are people so broken up/shook by their deaths when you know it will be undone? Once Strange offered to trade the stone for Tony's life, you knew it was part of their 1 in 14 million victory path. They basically are just going to be painlessly erased from existence for a brief moment of time.

i was doing a good job holding it together but once I saw peter Parker begging to mr stark that he didn’t want to die I lost it and the tears started flowing... damn this was a great movie.. must see it again!!!!

The shock factor

No super hero movie had me feeling worried for the heroes as much as that scene. You ultimately felt what they were going through but also see another side of them that Id never expect. Its as if you say to yourself, who do we go for help now? They all looked helpless despite having each other around.

Very pyschologically frightening knowing this is coming from the mightiest help who couldnt even help anyone and/or themselves at that moment

stormbreaker is able to create portals

Stormbreaker is able to channel dimensional energy and act as a Bifrost Bridge, shown when Thor teleported himself, Rocket Raccoon and Groot to Wakanda instantly.

An Impressive Thanos Feat

Mantis can put a Fucking Planet to sleep , she did it to Ego for an extended amount of time but Thanos while trying to fight everyone off remained conscious and nearly uncontrollable

I should get one myself. Thanos is my favorite Marvel villain of all time. Used to say and randomly write “eternal damnation” cause Thanos curses that way. Lol

Because we all didnt expect those ones to die and that many

And while we speculate theories an all that can add relief, MCU had just raised the bar when it comes to suprising us and adding shock factor.


No one saw that coming.
 
so what is Scarlett's character's power? Is she on PEDs like Captain America or something? Or just killer tits?

Anyhow, saw this today - 1pm matinee. Theatre was mostly empty -just mostly parents and their younger kids and single losers like me. No annoying teenagers.

As far as super hero movies go it is one of the best - not TDK good but one of the best marvel movies I've seen.



Liked the fact that it was a darker mood ( meaning less jokes to appeal to younger kids).

Also liked that Thor was pretty kick ass in this one (eventually) - as he should have always been.

Hulk no Hulking out was <41>
 
Anybody here play war of the Gems on Super NES ? That was my shit . That was my Intro to Thanos. Thanos will always be my Preference for the Big Bad in these type events.

True.

But...

just enjoying the moment. Any comic book fans knows what the final outcome will be. The fun was determining who would die halfway and who would continue. That scene was a tear jerker though. If a kid or a woman dies that usually gets me. Tom Holland was awesome and hopefully he’ll show up again in the 2nd part..
