I for one hope they can do this without Cap or Tony dying. I think great writers can think of ways of having beloved heroes exit a franchise without dying. Death is the easiest way to write a character away from a franchise.
They might "subvert" our expectations and kill them both, while keeping Hawkeye alive!I think Cap dies but Tony lives. RDJ is the Godfather of Our Thing. They'll want to have the option of bringing him off the bench, even if it's just for a cameo in later movies. While Evans is perfect as Cap, he's not quite as important to the franchise.

I am struggling to think of many or actually any major leading character deaths in big franchises where the person playing the character was not the one looking to leave or themselves actually died.I for one hope they can do this without Cap or Tony dying. Yes, I'm looking at you, Lucasfilm.
Honestly a heroic sacrifice from Tony or Cap would be the most predictable outcome....
If it's well executed...I'll probably like it...but I just hope things are done in a way that don't shut the door down for a possible return for either one...even if it's just brief guest appearances.

Avengers 4: Thanos Takes an Arrow to the Knee.
JUST DO IT!!!Apparently one of the Russo's has a daughter studying at Edinburgh University. I'm strongly tempted to kidnap her; if the Russo's want me to release her, they can release the full trailer for Avengers 4!
Does considering doing something like that really make me a bad person?![]()

WHich characters are you referring to that happens so commonly? I kind of see Game of Thrones as ground breaking in that regard.
What have you seen of captain marvel other then her ko'ing old ladies on the bus?yea im getting a whole lot of *lol superman wins* from everything ive seen of captain marvel
i thought the same of BP tbh boseman has the charisma of a wet fart
Ya there are certainly some. Particularly if the series is ending. But it is still very rare compared to the opposite. Finding someone way to always make them survive or bring them back. That happens probably thousands of times more.I was thinking Walter White, everyone in 24, everyone in The Walking dead, Han Solo, Luke Skywalker.
Game of Thrones can afford to kill off major characters frequently because it has such the biggest ensemble cast I've ever seen.
The Avengers trailer is here

Fuck it, I'll say it. I don't think there should be any trailer. Don't release shit. At most throw a nice after credits ending in for Captain Marvel and that's it.
