Managed to still not see this yet. I just hope it's better than Infinity War which was just meh. Lot's of action but meh.

Avatar actually had some feelz to it. I've rewatched it at least 3 times.
Iw was meh?

Some people just wanna be contrarian.

Cap gets Thor powers to wield lightning and then they write him out?

I've been afraid to come into this thread because I thought Infinity War was leaps and bounds more entertaining and a more focused, tighter film than End Game.

Who's the bicycle kid who ignored Ant-Man's question after he came back to the real world in the residential area?

Who's the kid standing by himself at the funeral scene where the heroes are standing together in subgroups?

How's Disney+ going to make these streaming shows featuring these dead characters?

The actress who played grown up Cassie Lang is very attractive.

Because Chris Evans wants to move on. Sigh.

I wonder how Cap w/ his new Thor power would do against Thanos if he wielded Stormbreaker in addition to Mjornir. W/ Mjornir alone he was far more effective against Thanos than Thor using both weapons. And the Russo bros say Stormbreaker is the most powerful weapon in the universe.

Now Stormbreaker doesn't require someone to be worthy in order to wield it - it's just a weapon so powerful that only super OP God level characters can hold it without crumbling....kind of like how mere mortals can't hold Infinity Stones - only super OP guys like Thanos.

So characters like Hulk and Thanos can swing Stormbreaker around, but they don't gain Thor powers by wielding it. Cap OTOH does have Thor powers when he is holding Stormbreaker so he could probably utitlize it as effectively as Thor in Infinity War.

I'm still confused at Thor's power level in Endgame. He wields Stormbreaker which is far more powerful than Mjornir, but they make it a point he isn't strong enough to wear the Infinity Gauntlet.

That's the kid from Iron Man 3.
I can only tell about Loki - he ran off with the Tesseract and created his own timeline. Dunno how they will make it with Vision tbh.

Nothing wrong with that. You're not alone in that regard. I don't share that opinion, but there are some in this thread that agree.

Picked up the bluray yesterday, didn't even know it was coming out so soon. Sold out everywhere. Getting to watch it a 2nd, 3rd 4th time now.

- I can see why they didn't have normal smash Hulk. With the delicate maneuvering they had to do with time travel, Hulk is like a bull in a China Shop. He couldnt be there without wrecking something. He couldnt even walk down a flight of stairs in New York without fucking something up.

- A human can't handle an infinity stone, yet Hawkeye clearly has the soul stone in his hand in the water, after Nat's death. Doesn't matter, just saying...

- Robert Downey really looks the part for the movie. I don't know if that's how he is looking these days, or he did a Robert Deniro, and physically prepped his body for a guy who's been through a hellacious war and is starving, stranded in space.

I mean he looked like a cancer survivor at the start of the movie, having gone through life draining chemo.

Great movie. Really draining to watch however. Lot of intense moments.

Still trying to piece together the logic of it in my brain.

Hulk snaps and brings everyone back.

At the end if Thanos had snapped, he would have re-wiped out half the Universe. But cuz Tony snapped, using the same stones, just the bad guys were wiped out.

Was there a menu option in Tony's glove that you could select "just the bad guys please"?

Once you wield the power of the stones, you can do whatever you want with them. Thanos wanted to half the universe, Hulk wanted to bring everyone back as they were 5 years ago but change nothing else, Iron Man wanted to end Thanos' army.

Thanos wouldn't have re-wiped half the universe. He would have wiped the entire Universe and start everything from scratch.

Oh shit, I had no idea the stones worked that way. I thought they straight up wiped out half the universe. That's how it was presented in I.W.

So the stones quickly read the mind of the user, and give them their wish when they snap.

Like if I had the power to wield them and wished for 6 naked women in front of me, that's what I'd get when I snapped.

I thought it was something to do with ant-man, wasp woman fucking around with the van at the end trying to change the way the gloves worked??

Thanks for the info. I totally missed HOW the stones worked apparently.

Ant-Man and Wasp tried to use the van to return the stones to the past, basically what Captain America did at the end of the film. The van was a time machine. If they managed to do it, then it would be Thanos without the stones against the full might of the entire Avengers crew and he would have had no chance. Thanos without the stones vs Scarlet Witch, Dr. Strange, Captain Marvel, and Thor would have been a one-sided beatdown.

I don't know if RDJ did all that. I started watching Endgame last night. His sickly body looks like CGI for sure. Similar to what they did in the first Captain America with Steve Rogers before the super serum.

I agree with you. It seems like they tried to do too much with Endgame, and right when you would call BS on everything, they throw out the last battle scene and get everyone losing their minds.

Tony believed Thor was strong enough to wear the gauntlet. They balked at Thor snapping the gauntlet because he was not in the right frame of mind. They didn't think he would be able to focus on the task at hand when he snapped his fingers.

The Reality Stone lets one warp reality to any way they can envision it. So yes, you want to be the only person on the planet with 6 naked women, then that becomes reality.

That said, the amount of focus one would need to warp reality on massive scales and to not cause lots of problematic unintended consequences is huge. Thus why Tony was so fearful of re-writing the last 5 years and wiping out his child and that life. So you would not want a powerful doofus to snap. Banner has the focus and intellect to focus and minimize such unintended consequences.

Thats actually what i didnt like. They sortve, read the persons mind, and grant their wish?

Shit. Fine, i guess, this is a comic book movie.
