I don't know if RDJ did all that. I started watching Endgame last night. His sickly body looks like CGI for sure. Similar to what they did in the first Captain America with Steve Rogers before the super serum.

Yeh they can do anything with cgi now. As evidenced by 1970 Michael Douglas. Worked for me.

Because Chris Evans wants to move on. Sigh.

I wonder how Cap w/ his new Thor power would do against Thanos if he wielded Stormbreaker in addition to Mjornir. W/ Mjornir alone he was far more effective against Thanos than Thor using both weapons. And the Russo bros say Stormbreaker is the most powerful weapon in the universe.

Now Stormbreaker doesn't require someone to be worthy in order to wield it - it's just a weapon so powerful that only super OP God level characters can hold it without crumbling....kind of like how mere mortals can't hold Infinity Stones - only super OP guys like Thanos.

So characters like Hulk and Thanos can swing Stormbreaker around, but they don't gain Thor powers by wielding it. Cap OTOH does have Thor powers when he is holding Stormbreaker so he could probably utitlize it as effectively as Thor in Infinity War.

I'm still confused at Thor's power level in Endgame. He wields Stormbreaker which is far more powerful than Mjornir, but they make it a point he isn't strong enough to wear the Infinity Gauntlet.
I thought they didn't accept Thor's volunteer to use the gauntlet because he was drunk. He was tough enough to get blasted by the planet furnace that helped make Stormbreaker.

Yeah, he would have likely fucked the finger snap all up.

Picked up the bluray yesterday, didn't even know it was coming out so soon. Sold out everywhere. Getting to watch it a 2nd, 3rd 4th time now.

- I can see why they didn't have normal smash Hulk. With the delicate maneuvering they had to do with time travel, Hulk is like a bull in a China Shop. He couldnt be there without wrecking something. He couldnt even walk down a flight of stairs in New York without fucking something up.

- A human can't handle an infinity stone, yet Hawkeye clearly has the soul stone in his hand in the water, after Nat's death. Doesn't matter, just saying...

- Robert Downey really looks the part for the movie. I don't know if that's how he is looking these days, or he did a Robert Deniro, and physically prepped his body for a guy who's been through a hellacious war and is starving, stranded in space.

I mean he looked like a cancer survivor at the start of the movie, having gone through life draining chemo.

Great movie. Really draining to watch however. Lot of intense moments.
A human can handle a single infinity stone. Using more than one is when it begins to become an issue. Tony used them all together successfully, just died in the process.

I got that wrong too I guess. I thought a human couldnt handle even one. Thus what we saw when we saw the Red Skull try to handle the space stone at the end of the cap america movie. Or Quill nearly getting fried trying to handle the (power stone?), and he's half god-like.

One movie had a whole scene about beings trying and failing to handle a single stone. The Watchers or something, being one of them.

I think holding one, and using one are different story. But a human can handle a single stone. It’s just not knowing how to handle one is the issue from what I got. If you don’t know what your doing you won’t be able to control it.

Just some random observations:

- Fat Thor is frowned upon Gheyberry, but outside this shithole a lot of people seem to really like this version of Thor. Whenever i'm talking to friends/co-workers, or sometimes read online comments, people don't seem to have a problem with this as much as Gheyberry does
- A lot of posters in this forums also think the Black Widow movie is pointless and some even expressed no interest in watching it. In my circle, there seems to be more interest in her story now than ever. I still predict that her movie is gonna do well.

I think I saw the Black Widow movie is a prequel, so is it not going to build up to or lead to anything in a later movie since she's gone? All the other movies seemed to build towards something.

It really seems like Namor's gonna fight Black Panther in BP2, and looking forward to it. Someone here said BP's country is landlocked, but in Infinity War, they showed there's a beach as you approach it.

I sure hope Paltrow isn't going to fill Iron Man's armor because I can't stand her. Zero redeeming qualities. Not face, not big boobs, not personality.

I kinda like Cap Marvel being cocky knowing she's the badass like Neo from the Matrix and volunteering for the toughest opponents.

Itching for Disney+ not necessarily for one thing of Marvel, but to see what's the continuing story of some characters. I hope it's not lame filler.

Took my wife and I three nights to rewatch this thing. Waaay too long with way too much filler. The editor should be shot.

There's an 8/10 movie hiding somewhere in this bloated mess but as it is, I can't give it higher than 7/10.

I don't see the MCU surviving without the original cast. These guys were perfect fits for their roles. Evans, Downey, Hemsworth simply can't be replaced.

Hemsworth raised his level a ton after they gave him funny lines. Much better than serious stick in the mud guy. Thor + Drax could be interesting... + Korg.

My son told me something about seeing something online about shooting beginning for gotg3.. I told him I didnt think so. Anybody hear anything?

Oh, and time travel angle was stupid and this movie overrated. I had no doubt stark would die because they gave it away in infinity war.

They hinted Tony was the key to winning. I thought Cap Am was going to die due to actor wanting out.

The dumb thing was letting Nebula in on the good guys' plan then magically the other past Nebula has access to her data to share with Thanos.

The look strange have stark, and the act he committed to save him at that time, meant that stark was going to sacrifice himself to save everybody. I was surprised people didn't know this, but some did. It was still executed pretty well, and RDJ did a fine job as the character start to finish.. Still didn't make the movie for me.
