Not sure if this has been posted but whatever, I don't remember this fight being so badass but the LZ makes it even better.

This would have been better:

Tony's love of AC/DC in the first two Iron Mans and Avengers was one of my favorite things about his character. Wish it had come back around in the last couple movies

My only critique of IW was when they didn't use it for his grand entrance at the end.

No. That song was great in Ragnarok, but the Avengers theme was perfect for his entrance in IW.
You can't possibly think it would be more epic than it was with the Avengers theme.

Wouldn't have fitted the films tone IMHO, Ragnarok was deliberately going for a campier Flash Gordon like tone(not being critical of it, the results were great) which Immigrant Song fitted into perfectly were as IW was aiming for a more serious Thor revenge arc.

I actually think that the way the Thor/Thanos plots end in IW really shows you how the MCU have taken the mantel from Starwars. I mean its an ending with the same kind of balls that Empire Strikes Back had whilst Last Jedi didn't have the guts to follow though, Rey just rejects Kylo and they become even more simplistic good/evil with a badly done "happy ending".

I do think EG shows a bit more guts even than Return of the Jedi as well, I mean that film followed though on the Luke/Vader plot well but took some other simpler choices like having the Han/Leia romance be pretty standard.

Imagine the hype for Rise if Rey had taken his hand and gone off with him to rule the galaxy togther then the first teaser ends with her in all black looking like an evil bitch of a Sith.

Not sure if this is related to the Falcon not being worthy of wearing the shield discussion or sth else, but either way, @CyberRubberDuck covered it sufficiently. The character is not developed enough, that's all.

I imagine Falcon will be used similar to Hawkeye going forward. Just because he has Cap's shield doesnt mean he is the new Captain America.

I'll trust them over Whedon. I'm good with that.

How quickly people turn on the guy who made the first Avengers movie happen. It was something which had pretty much never been done before, brining together a team from a slew of different movies like that, and he not only did it, but did it damned well, and actually introduced Thanos to the MCU. But now it's all "lol... Whedon." Trust MMA fans to have a "what have you done for me lately?" assessment of value.

Russos break down the most iconic scenes of the MCU so far

They also outright say Cap was worthy of Mjolnir even back during Age of Ultron

Couldn't agree more with them about the Iron Man scene when he just announced he was Iron Man. Such a great moment and ending the first movie. The way it was acted out as well was perfect.

I still got watery eyes watching Spiderman saying he doesn't want to go.

As far as Cap picking up the hammer who wrote Age of Ultron? Wouldn't that be the person who knows whether cap was worthy or not at the time?

I wonder if the Russos wrote a scene in Endgame that mirrored the Thanos + young Gamora in the Soul Realm scene.

It would have been great to see a scene in the Soul Realm with Tony and Natasha after he snaps but before he comes back to reality and dies. Better yet, a scene after Bruce's snap so he can say goodbye to her.

The trippy shit out of all this Dr. Strange saw all this unfolding and Tony will go down sacrificing himself. So Strange never told Tony he was going to die, instead just advised "there's was no other way," before disappearing.

Fat Thor was humorous.
Cap picking up Thor's hammer was awesome.

If you compare Endgame to Infinity War, EG had more stories to it, while IW had more actions.
Not a bad thing just diffferent takes on how Marvel putting the outlooks on things.

I mentioned that a while back. In retrospect, Strange's line in IW, "I'm sorry, Tony, but there was no other way", is absolutely chilling. He knew that the only way to defeat Thanos was for Stark to sacrifice himself. Strange is a good guy, but also a stone cold motherfucker when he has to be. It actually reminds me of Cumberbatch's line in the title role of Sherlock,

"I may fight on the side of the angels, but don't think for one moment that I am one!"

They did, with Katherine Langford, and they cut it because it was too emotionally disconnected.

I also caught James Gunn's brother in a set-photo in-costume.

So I wonder if there's gonna be an extended edition, or the BS no-effects ancillary BITS materials.
