god i hope your wrong but i think your right....

Black Panther has the charisma of a wet fart

i really hope they dont try and have him take Tony or Steves roles going forward

Sam would so a much better job but he isnt the same caliber of hero BP is in the MCU
as far as a charismatic leader Captain Marvel and Black Panther IMO are the absolute bottom of the barrel of what the MCU has had to offer so far

Agreed.
BP and Cap Marvel are not my cup of tea. I like Falcon, but he can't carry a movie. Scarlet accent-on-off Witch is boring.

The only reason I would even watch follow-up Avengers movies is Ant Man and Dr Strange / Spidey (if they decide to include them). Wasp is alright.

My theory is they build up the kid from IM 3 (that was at Tony's funeral) as the next tech kid and make him the next Iron Man. Then him, Spidey, Hawkeye's (or Tony's) daughter and Shuri start the Young/New Avengers.

I would prefer Bucky as the next cap but it doesn't make sense in the MCU he was and is still known as a terrorist while Sam is Para-rescue and a war hero ( more recent than Buck was anyway)

To be honest, I didn't feel it was something that needed addressing at all. We didn't need a person to pass the shield onto.
But as far as the mcu goes, falcon was completely unworthy of being given it.
Like I said before, I think falcon is barely a B grade character in the mcu. Flies in, kicks someone, flies off. No character development, nothing. If the film makers had decided way back that falcon was getting the shield, they should have developed his character some. Made him play a role in the mcu. Because I think you could literally delete every single scene he was in, and the movies would still make as much sense as they do now. No one would miss him at all. IMO.

I guess we see it differently I enjoyed plenty of Sams scenes and really thought he was pivotal to Caps success as a returning vet.

Not sure if this is related to the Falcon not being worthy of wearing the shield discussion or sth else, but either way, @CyberRubberDuck covered it sufficiently. The character is not developed enough, that's all.

He also lacks the physical abilities that Cap has. Give Falcon the Shield and stick him in the elevator fight with the Hydra goons, or against the Winter Solder, or fighting Tony with That Look in his eye. Even with the Shield, Falcon loses every one of those fights.

2.2 Billion in two weeks? Endgame will seriously reach 3 Billion?

Well, they upgraded the wings again i noticed. He's stabbing fuckers with the ends now compared to getting them ripped off, by grappling hooks I believe it was, in Winter Soldier. So an elevator fight where he has two big ass axes might be on his level now, moreso if he starts being able to control them mentally Doc Ock style, also we didnt see Redhawk backing him up this time, but that should still be a part of his arsenal now too

Sure, if we go into the physical abilities area, Bucky seems like the obvious choice, unless Falcon goes through Super Soldier procedure (which i'm quite sure isn't going on any more after Banner /Abomination complications). Additionally, Bucky as a character had more depth, and has more to be explored (his inner demons, the remains of the brainwash programme, his lost time etc) in potential sequels/spin offs. On the other side, what do we know about Falcon? A war vet that is sort of nice? You can't milk that forever.

Yeah, that part came out of freakin' nowhere. It was a nice touch, i'll give them that.

That was my problem with Falcon getting the Shield originally. Great he can match the attitude and maybe the fortitude of Steve, but he is getting whooped by just a singular top regular Special Ops soldier like Frank Grillo. No slump but still one regular top Special Ops guy. Crossbones crushes Falcon, Cap in his sleep.

BUt my understanding now based on what we have seen is that Falcon remains Falcon but just add the Shield to his arsenal. That is what all the art has shown and how I've been told it played it out in the comics. Current Falcon is pretty formidable, So i guess as long as the Shield is not too cumbersome than him having it as defense would work.
