Not huge on super hero movies but I finally watched infinity war. I actually like Thanos. Dude is a beast. Also star lord or whatever his name is is such an annoying character and actor. Can’t stand that guy.

Marvel Studios Schedule:

May 1, 2020 – Untitled Marvel
November 6, 2020 – Untitled Marvel
February 12, 2021– Untitled Marvel
May 7, 2021- Untitled Marvel
November 5, 2021 - Untitled Marvel
February 18, 2022 – Untitled Marvel
May 6, 2022 – Untitled Marvel
July 29, 2022 – Untitled Marvel

There’s no official information about what these untitled films will be, but the Marvel films we know are in the stages of production include: Black Widow, The Eternals, Shang-Chi, Black Panther 2, Doctor Strange 2, and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. Both Bob Iger and Kevin Feige has gone on record saying the Fox Marvel properties will be overseen by Marvel Studios at some point in the future, so some of these dates may include a new Deadpool film or X-Men reboot, although I heavily doubt the latter.
Do these include Avenger-esque team-up movies? Because we probably will see a Captain Marvel 2 (unfortunately) in there somewhere.
I'm not seeing a pathway for a big bad in that lineup.

Bucky is way too much of an uncharismatic introvert to be captain America. Derp.

Plus, The Winter Soldier is a bad ass name.
Yeah he's dark and brooding. Imo Mackie is a better.choice. Replacing Evans will be damn near impossible, but I'm interested to see what he does with it.

If Fat Thor got a hold of "Dark World" era Thor's Mjolnir and brought it with him to the future....doesn't that mean that he fucked with the timeline/past? Something they were explicitly told not to do? That's got to create a new branch, right?

I believe the Russos stated something about a reduction in ensemble films -- but I've basically regarded the MCU like RZA does the Wu-Tang album -- "they might have a different artist name/title but they're ALL Wu-Tang albums."

I'm thinking Disney+ will become their barometer for decision-making. Based on clicks and views, they'll be able to track our eyeballs more thoroughly.

Two possibilities. Cap returns the hammer when he returned the infinity stone (which raises some interesting questions about how he got it back into Portman) or magic hammer duplicated itself so that both Thors had one.

yea, he has always been a supporting character, but a strong willed one tho, who seems to both be able to take orders, but also give to those below his rank. A true military man, and this is his promotion. He will take time to develop and be able to step up when the time comes and truly be the leader. I think that is why they are giving him a whole series, as that gives more screen time to develop the character.

I was kind of impressed with the Spiderman trailer, so I think they have some decent ideas planned. I just hope they dont go to far into the realm or bringing people back or completely just switching things, because of a Multiverse. Just keep it a Marvel Cinematic Universe, not a Marvel Cinematic Multiverse. With all their acquisitions, they have more than enough characters to build off from. Spiderman becoming lead to me is fine. He has enough side stories with even just wolverine and/or x-men and fantastic 4, among lots of others. Daredevil, etc.

My assumption was that he returned it just like the stones. He clearly took it with him and it wasn’t in the scene when he came back with the shield.

Marvel maybe wary of viewer fatigue at this point and of forcing the advancement of any future large plot too quickly.

I'm guessing we'll see a return more to the earlier days of the MCU building towards any teamup and over arching plot, perhaps not taking as long since film releases are more numerous now.

Give viewers a bit of a rest after this climax and then have it so any future Avengers reformation or similar group/story actually carries its own weight rather than being perfunctory.

Yep

I loved most of this entire cinematic universe and I’d say only disliked maybe 4 or 5 of the films leading to Endgame but I’m in the minority and I think that was a steaming pile of shit!!! Just a disappointment all the way around

Because it was shit.

If they dont do something with the X-men fast probably wont care about the next phase of the MCU, especially as they are not building for avengers 3-4 like BP 1 and Dr Strange 1 did.

I actually feel like DC has a nice chance to strike back against the Marvel bench if they even put their shit together a little bit, they have been able to obtain succes with characthers peple were predictig to bomb (Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Shazam) and they still have fucking Batman and Superman while after endgame mcu retired Cap, Iron man, Hulk (and Spidey could go back to Sony).

Will make up the leadership core for the next group of Avengers. Sam represents Steve’s ethics. T’Challa brings the genius tech with Shuri.

Captain America (Wilson) = Steve Rogers
Black Panther = Tony Stark
Ant Man = Hawkeye
Wasp = Black Widow
Valkyrie = Thor (Since they are now Earthbound)
Scarlet Witch

With Captain Marvel as their off the bench ringer, maybe Hulk and Spiderman if they can keep their respective studios happy.

Only issue now is adapting a new story arc for the screen. Avengers vs. X-men would have been a perfect way to intro mutants, but Marvel seems to want to drag ass on this.

god i hope your wrong but i think your right....

Black Panther has the charisma of a wet fart

i really hope they dont try and have him take Tony or Steves roles going forward

Sam would so a much better job but he isnt the same caliber of hero BP is in the MCU
as far as a charismatic leader Captain Marvel and Black Panther IMO are the absolute bottom of the barrel of what the MCU has had to offer so far

Can't believe there are people who think bucky is as minor a character as falcon in the mcu.
The 2nd captain America movie is named the winter soldier. That's bucky.
Civil war is based alla round bucky. That's bucky too.
What the fuck has falcon done in the mcu that is at all significant?
I would prefer Bucky as the next cap but it doesn't make sense in the MCU he was and is still known as a terrorist while Sam is Para-rescue and a war hero ( more recent than Buck was anyway)

The trippy shit out of all this Dr. Strange saw all this unfolding and Tony will go down sacrificing himself. So Strange never told Tony he was going to die, instead just advised "there's was no other way," before disappearing.

Fat Thor was humorous.
Cap picking up Thor's hammer was awesome.

If you compare Endgame to Infinity War, EG had more stories to it, while IW had more actions.
Not a bad thing just diffferent takes on how Marvel putting the outlooks on things.
