Do you get new things from them the second time through?
No. I can’t say that I did. I just enjoy the action and humor. Korg cracks me up. I love the take on the Thor character. It’s a visual spectacle. Completely ridiculous in the best way possible.

I can understand that.

If EndGame was at the same pace as IW, I'm pretty sure some people would complain that it's just mindless battles/explosion etc etc. It was cool to see avengers go through the grieving process which made the audience root for them to win in the end

I wouldn't have complained. I've watched IW more than I've watched anymore movie in a long time other than when I was a kid and used to watch movie multiple times.

My main issue was the whole heist stuff was just boring.

Your point is still dumb and you don't know what you're talking about. The Xmen were doing an allegory to the civil rights movement in the 60s. They've also dealt with wide scale genocide. The FF tackled feminism in the 70s. The Cap comics covered a conservative war hero questioning and ultimately rebelling against a corrupt government in the 70s and 80s.

Cloak and Dagger tackled teen homelessness and drug addiction in the early 80s. Daredevil, Spiderman, and the punisher all dealt with the crime and drug epidemic in new york. That's literally ONLY marvel and just off the top of my head.

Comics have ALWAYS had a counterculture element to them. It's not some new SJW thing just because you know nothing about the history of the business.

None of which has anything to do with what I was talking about. Long drawn out post wasted.

Lolwut? Your point was the mcu are pandering to sjws, when they are literally just adapting the stories from the comics.

Which you didn't know, because you don't follow the comics. You don't know what you're talking about but you want to push your little political agenda so bad.

So guess what I watched End Game and prep yourself for spoilers or gtfo

This pissed me off immensely.

Tony Stark finally got the family he always wanted - loving wife and kid. Wow life is great for him.

Cap: Hey tony ya gotta leave all this stuff behind bro - lose that family

Tony Stark: But I love...

Cap: Lose em

---end of movie

Falcon: Where ya go Cap

Cap: Oh man I manipulated the situation to live that life I stole from Tony. What a sweet life I had you guy - so happy - and long!!

I'm not talking about them featuring feminism, or civil rights stories, or whatever other rubbish you mentioned. I'm talking about them deciding to turn the cap role over to a minor character just for no real reason it seems other than to please the pc lobby.
But no, you just keep rambling on that I don't know what I'm talking about. Just because you're a comic nerd and I'm not, doesn't mean I'm incorrect in my point. Accept it, you're wrong. I'm not.

It's like talking to a child. In. The. Comics. Falcon. Becomes. Cap.

After nearly 50 years of buildup. That's why the movies went that direction. They're following the plotline of cap beong falcons mentor. I'm not wrong. You don't know anything about the source material, which is why you don't umderstand that was a completely rational choice to make.

YOU were the one that tried to make it seem like comics being political is some recent thing. It's not, hence my giving you examples spanning multiple generations of highly polarizing and political topics being covered across multiple titles.

Your argument literally comes down to "even though falcon becomes cap in the comics, the movies should have gone a different direction so white males don't feel threatened"

Because these movies haven't had any high profile roles for white actors

The Russos said Katherine Langford was cut from the film because her scene kinda stuck out like a sore thumb. Originally she was to play an older version of Tony's daughter Morgan, whom he'd meet in some strange ante-dimension -- I suppose similar to Thanos meeting up with a child Gamorra -- and forgive him for sacrificing his life to destroy Thanos so he could shuffle off this mortal coil.

Ultimately, "I love you 3000" was deemed the best emotional impact.

I could have done without the five minute silence for cheetheborders, tho.
Cheetheborders was just a callback to stark wanting an american cheeseburger after getting rescued in IM

Even if you leave out the comics, track Sam's and Steve's relationship since Winter Soldier. It's completely logical. Sam earned it, Bucky didn't. Everybody, including Bucky himself, knew that.

Yeah there was no hint they were ever going in the direction of making bucky the new cap. They've been building up the cap and falcon relationship since TWS. I'd rather see a winter soldier franchise anyway, he's a great character in his own right. And the actor fits that role much better than the cap role imo.
