Who cares how he promoted himself? I'm not a fan of his and don't particularly likehis style of music, but better to create (even if everyone thinks its shitty), than to be a bum on your ass criticizing what everyone else does. TS is a douche and needs to stop worrying about what everyone else does.

What have you done thats so great? So what if he faked praise for his music? How does this affect you in any way or the merit of his art? To me its no different than a street musician putting in a couple of bucks into their own tip jar in order to get the ball rolling. And his "crap" music is just your worthless opinion. I'm sure there are plenty of people on here who like his stuff.

I'd rather pat him on the back than a worthless scum like you. At least he has the balls to try and to put himself out there.

How? No one's losing anything and there's no investment other than a minute or two of your time (which is most likely wasted on sherdog anyways). Look, I'm not saying what he did wasn't sneaky or self-serving, but people on here make it sound like the dude is a complete scam artist. He's just trying to get his music heard, its not that outrageous where everyone has to get up in arms about it. Him falsly bolstering up his music shouldn't sway your opinion of it--you either like it or you dont. It just seems that keyboard warriors are more interested in tearing apart a guy who stumbled, and I would bet dollars to donuts that none of them have ever tried creating anything ever in their lives.

The fact he posted it is far from anything wrong...
I'm just saying, personally, I wouldn't try to entice people to listen in by creating fake accounts and praising myself.

IMO it's a show of character.

Thats cool, and I can understand that.

I'm a musician as well and can understand the lengths people will go through to get to the next level. I've followed his threads in hopes of finding something I might like, but I havent. I just noticed a complete 180 from sherdoggers regarding his music and if its due to the fact of shameless self promotion, then people are taking it too far.

For better of for worse, this is just a message from most of the members of Sherdog that if they catch anybody doing something like that they'll never let it die. The guy just wanted his music heard and that's understandable but he went about it the wrong way at the wrong website. A lot of other forums would for the most part have been more understanding but location is everything.
