Attn: Instant Legend and Parcel Scott

you are absolutely correct. The IPs do in fact match. I'll man up and give it to you 100%.

I believe that people will not give unknown musicians a chance UNLESS they see a product cosigned first. So, I started a seperate account, of which I asked my wife to use solely to boost up my music. I also post under the other screen name from time to time in non music related threads.

I'm passionate about music, I would like my stuff to be heard. While my wife probably doesn't feel it's the most honest thing to do - she helps me out. I don't put any form of blame on her, it's my idea, and my idea alone.

There you have it - the plain and simple truth, albeit a deceptive ploy.

The way I see it at this point, those who enjoy my music for what it is will listen - for those who feel my online persona is that of an annoying scumbag - well, they won't listen.

In the end though, I'm glad you called me out on it - because I've got to be able to draw my listeners on the quality of the music, not internet traffic gimmicks - the fact I've tackled a few in my time I suppose speaks of my self esteem.

That's that - all I can do is man up and give it to you straight.

In the end you glad... Why didnt you man up prior than?

Damn I actually feel embarrassed for Instant Legend, that's a first ...Good thing I've never had any conversations with any of my other accounts... at least I don't think I have.

So DM why'd you call em out anyhow? I mean I'd understand if he used both accounts to insult you in a thread or something but why go out of your way to put him on the spot ...all he's really doing is plugging his lame music.

It's no secret that a lot of people have multiple accounts. This shouldn't be news to anyone that's been around for a while. They use them for basically the same thing; to bring attention and bump their own threads..

I agree, me being a trackmaster. Not a certified Engineer but still. I understand its hard to get feedback, and the one thing i learned in this industry is that it is the worst industry. You ether know someone or you have to be better than everyone so people ask for you. You cant blame the guy for wanting to be heard. I think every person in my and Instant Legends place feels the same way. The sad fact is though, he is right. People usually follow what they hear is good. For the most part(especally with music) people arent open to new things and they are easy to write them off. Have you ever listened to a track and didnt think it was special. Than someone famous or just someone you like and trust told you how much they liked that song, you might go back and give it a second chance. I see dudes come in all the time with a CD they said Dr. Dre touched(As in mixed or provided a skeletion for a track. Its complete bullshyt, If Dr Dre was on a track he would own that, and you wouldnt have trouble selling it. But you gotta to listen to it just in case. I think IL feels that if he can just get you to listen you will enjoy it. Hey i dont blame you, been doing it for 8 years now, i havent been signed or asked to be on a mix tape or anything, and everytime people hear my beats they tell me i should try to get deep into it. But i just believe the cream always rises, i rather not be famous and just making stuff that i feel is relevant.

But yeah man, you are just trying to get a break, no hating man, good luck in this fuccin shark tank. Try to get in some contests boy....you win they put you on national mix tapes...just google that shit. Mix tape is the oldest and best way to get your stuff heard.

Good luck man.

Let me get some pellas if you got some :)

Can we get a link to his music up in this thread, so at least the poor guys music is available to download and listen too to anyone catching a lolz at his expense?

You should have your music available at youtube as well Matt, make video's etc. in order to get yourself out there.

Oh okay, good. My High speed satellite internet by Hughes Net is so slow I cant even make it to the first page of this thread without taking 10 minutes.

This thread is among the best things that could have happened to him short of actually blowing up.

lol. What a douche bag. Figures he likes hip hop.

Those people would be known as douche bags.
