Hendo v bisping is a rematch that shouldnt be taking place but it is a great time to do it because of the way the first fight went down and because hendo is a fan favorite. I think the ufc realizes hendo as a 2 org champion is too storybook to take away.

If Henderson takes it, and the fight does numbers, then the ufc would probably try and setup a rematch with anderson so he can "claim his title back".

If anderson were to win, assuming the rematch thing catches on, whose to stop rich franklin from getting a 3rd shot at anderson who may have depleted to the level franklin is able to capitilize on.

The ufc can make henderson a 2 org champion, let Anderson reclaim his title, AND Let Franklin reclaim it within the next 3 fights.

Shity match ups can always happen when "narrative" is considered a big factor when deciding who gets the TS.

A Henderson-Franklin rematch with Franklin trying to avenge his close loss to Hendo appeals me more to be honest. This is not to say Franklin is deserving of a title shot but to answer TS, Henderson-Franklin II over Silva-Franklin III.
 
These matchups are all blasts from the past. When was the last time Rich Franklin won a fight in the UFC?? What are the legitimate current top contenders supposed to do while the luminaries of yore duke it out in your scenario?

either way, it still works out in favor franklin. I agree Id like to see hendo v franklin 2 but i think AVF3 has the same luster.

I have to disagree with you here. IMO Franklin was jobbed in the first fight after bringing it to Henderson. Franklin himself is a really humble gentleman and it is no mystery to why it was forgotten in history. Compared that to both Anderson Silva-Franklin fights having decisive outcomes, albeit Franklin looked much sharper in the rematch. I just personally do not have a desire to see him in there against Silva in a comeback fight, but to each his or her own.
 
I think we should have a 500 post minimum before people are allowed to start threads to avoid shit like this.
