As a Persian, I watched 300 and...

Didn't Leonidas die pretty early in the battle? I seem to remember that Leonidas was one of the first spartans to die and the spartans put themselves in danger and fought for hours just to retrieve his corpse (unsuccessfully), the dude was also old as fuck when the battle of Thermopylae happened.

I didn't get that part despite looking at it from a prospective of believing in yoga powers and ancient esoterc arts. Like ok what the hell was the point of it?

It' not like he got faster or stronger than before. It was straight up weird as hell.

Maybe because they got flack for him not looking incredibly Iranian in the first film

Stop posting about Persians you fucking try hard. They don’t like you

It was a comically entertaining movie. And I can see why Persians weren't fans of it. It might of been just a silly movie, but it definitely added to the false narrative of the Persians being the bad and evil side.

Before the transformation he did look Persian but he also looked that dork that plays touch butt with conor in the park.

ya there is clearly no reason it should've been banned

More people need to be like the Irish IMO when it comes to 'getting offended'

Notre Dame has what appears to be a f'n drunken leprechaun as their 'fighting Irish' mascot, nobody bats an eye

meanwhile my alma mater SDSU had it's mascot removed b/c it was 'culturally insensitive to the Aztecs'......wait, what Aztecs?
What you dont like our new gay mascot that wears brown ballet shoes?

“ my people piss me off “ stfu and go shave your chest Ali .

What are you some secret phag looking to be a bad boy for some hairy brown dick? Like get of nuts dude. Go to grinder for that shit.

Yep, been mentioned already, but things appear as they do because it's a propoganda story told by Dilios to rally the senate and army to the cause so Leonidis' sacrifice meant as much as possible...makes all the sense in the world viewed thru that lense imo..

edit: which also explains why Ephialtes, a traitor, would be shown as a nasty, vile, ugly, piece of crap.

which persian dynasty were you in? pretty impressive to be on sherdog; you must be at least 100 years old

In all fairness, Norte Dame is in France, so the fighting Irish isn't an Irish can take a joke mascot, it's a look at those drunk hooligans french condescending mascot.

300 is the most homoerotic movie I've ever seen. I can tell how gay you are by how much you enjoyed 300.

Sure why would we care, you're only yanks. We're far to busy plamasing Irish American tourists, while ripping them off for €9 pints in Temple Bar.

The real question is why did the 300 leave that crevice between the two mountains or whatever that was.

They wouldn’t have been defeated if they did that.

Edit: never mind.

So, does this mean the events taking place back in Sparta actually occurred?

GOAT movie and 100% accurate.

DEUS VU... wait, that's the wrong quote...

True.

Movie was kinda lame.

I did like seeing that Persian messenger rescue and train Artemis after that horrific incident that is every human beings nightmare. Like it shows that the Persians can be good as well.

This whole thing got me interested in the ottoman Empire.
