So with all the guitar threads going on I started to think last night about all the artists I have seen that are no longer living. My list quickly became way too long. I’m sure my list is so long because I am so damn old but I do feel lucky to have seen these artists live.

    Mike Starr (Alice in Chains)
    Joe Strummer (The Clash)
    Joey Ramone (Ramones)
    Dee Dee Ramone (Ramones)
    Johnny Ramone (Ramones)
    Danny Gatton
    Rory Gallagher
    Jerry Garcia (Grateful Dead)
    John Entwistle (The Who)
    Bo Diddley
    Roy Orbison

You've seen some awesome bands..........probably showing your age mind!

Slayer and Pantera are the only ones that come to mind, who've lost a member.

Of the bands I've seen live that fit this criteria, I'm glad I got to see the original lineup of the death metal band Decapitated perform.

Why? Because not long after I saw them live, the drummer got... wait for it.... Decapitated.

And I'm always going to regret never getting to see Slayer with Jeff Hanemman live.

I saw Pink Floyd with Dave Gilmour and Roger Waters performing together, not sure that'll be happening again any time soon.
