Artem not doing too good

the guy's record was 13-15. not exactly surprising.

Yea, dude.
He's suing out of regret. Lawyers cost $.
If they think he has a good case, they'll be representing him on contingency, so it will cost him very little or nothing unless he wins. My thought is that some lawyer or law firm has put Artem up to this precisely because they think they can cash in on suing Conor.

I wonder what he has on him though? Without a written contract I can't imagine he's getting anything?
What a shame anyway. MMA friendships....

Also, wondering if Khabib did a "told you so" to Lobov?
I seriously doubt Khabib gives a fuck if Artem benefits monetarily from his friendship with Conor or not. Hell,I dont care either!

Another poster in this thread said Artem had actually done leg work making proposals to various companies. So maybe there is something to the lawsuit.

Not a lawyer, but occasionally I've heard of "verbal contracts" being enforced. Googling it brings up a lot of links.

Verbal contracts are binding in many places, so if he has witnesses that they made a verbal contract he can still win.

vrerbal contracts are typically binding depending on where you are at, the issue is proving them.

honestly, if you think about it another way - construction worker plucked from obscurity fights in the UFC for three years (!) - it's a pretty inspiring story. he's like the mma version of Vince Papale

It's weird because I would have at least figured Connor would take care of a friend in that situation.
Also, if I suddenly sprouted those muscles my shirts would be neatly folded somewhere.
If course, those muscles are very soon going to deplete.

Conor did offer him one million British Pounds and Artem turned it down. Either Artem is an idiot or he has ironclad proof Conor agreed to give him 5%.

If he does have proof, then accepting the million could have superseded the prior agreement. I wonder if he was getting legal advice at that time.

Regardless or not if Artem is justified in suing him, he should've gotten something for having McGregor's back all those years. Now he's working a construction job, this is really sad... Nothing wrong with a construction job but he spent so many years getting punched in the face for a living with not a lot to show for it seems...Complete opposite of a guy like Khabib who invested a million dollars in Islam's training camp against Oliveira.
Looks like McGregor's the little weasel after all.
