Artem not doing too good

Not doing too good? It's not like he was one of the highest paid athletes or one of the elite severely underpaid fighters. It's great that he now has a normal job, no one should expect to have earned a lifetime income by doing MMA professionally for 8 years, 3 of which were in the UFC.

He could still make decent money in Russia fighting in bareknuckle, boxing or doing some business.

Artem has experienced more than he ever would and thats all thanks to mcgregor. He would never have even got to the UFC if His friend didnt get him on TUF. He had his 15 minutes of fame and now its over,

Conor even offered him 1 million for his idea of selling whiskey. He should show more gratitude.

Really? Then Artem's lawsuit is a disgrace. Despite the lawyer(s) putting him up to it.

But IF he helped Connor in ANY way make that deal than he should have given him something?
But I get the entitled thing. Many many US athletes went broke supporting family members with their hands out.
Conor did offer him a million British pounds. Depending on when he offered it that was between like 1.2 and 1.4 million dollars so not a small amount of money.

He only wanted a cut once Conor sold the company for $500 mil and Conor only offered him 1mil even though Artem is one who gave him the connections. Who knows if Conor tried to ever offer him money again after the sell.
The company sold for $500 million but Conor didn't get $500 million. He didn't own the entire company there were other investors.

My statement does not need to be revised. I talked about conors millions and fame. I talked about reaching the pinnacle of success. I talked about having an existential crisis in the manner of coke and hoes. If you cant follow that train of thought I apologize for not being more clear.

You sound angry. Wishing you all the best and maybe dont take yourself so seriously on a karate forum

Not angry but more annoyed since now you are saying a completely different thing. You mentioned that when you were young, you wanted to be rich like Conor but now you dont want to be rich because what it did to Conor. It sounded like your blaming money and not Conor.

Many people replied to you who also thought you are coping with not having money. So I am not the only one here who took the original post as an attempt of vilifying money.

When I was younger I'd chose conors life of millions and stardom no hesitation. As I get older I feel more sorry for those who reach the pinnacle only to have that eventual existential crisis of "is this what life is all about?" The coke and hoes can only distract you for so long.
You think you're really smart, but you're really not. In this life, family is the most important. What has Conor done for his family? He retired his parents from having to work in his 20s. He got so successfull that not only does his family not have to work again, they can enjoy luxury that most people can't. They can do whatever they want. They have almost complete freedom. Not to mention the pride that his parents felt when he achieved his goals in MMA. That is priceless by itself.

What have you done for your family? What have you done for your parents? Have you done well enough to send your parents on a permanent vacation to a warm tropical place where they can relax and live out their elder years relaxed? Or did your old man have to work until his hair was gray and his body old and weak?

If your answer is no, then you are dumb to even have typed your comment since you didn't think of these simple things.

If he was Conors best friend then in no way should he be broke. Conor could’ve made him set for life

Conor offered him a million dollars when the company sold (according to Artem) and Artem declined. He also declined to take compensation for training camps.

So yeah, he shouldn't be broke.

Conor made him a offer, Artem chose not to take it... I don't see the problem.

Now to sue? Unjustified.

Conor and Artem hasn’t really been friends since the whole Khabib thing. Conor probably blames Artem for it tbh.

The post was in reference to conor, therefore I specifically mentioned conors fame and money. Pinnacle of success still referred to conor, ala the floyd fight where he reached his pinnacle. That peak led to his downfall. He chased money from the start of his career and that was his downfall, not the money but the greed. What's so hard to understand?

I apologize if half of sherdog is too dumb to interpret my post.

Have a good day

My parents have been retired since I turned 27 and became very fortunate to give them that option.

You dont need millions to be generous and I didnt need to bring shame to my family in order to give them the life they have. So everything is in tact including my dignity and integrity.

Everything you wrote about conor is cringeworthy because if you value more than money in life, you will realize how much shame Conor has brought to his family. Reaching some goals in MMA is meaningless in the grand scheme. People will forget your name and legacy and move on. What's important is what you do with that legacy, ie. Khabib or GSP.

Probably from a Russian university that hands out degrees to celebrities. Both Klitchkos have PhDs.

DCU is legit.

Artem was never famous enough to be offered an honorary degree, he earned his degree and masters pre ufc(pre mcgregors ufc debut also)
