Artem not doing too good

Conor did offer him a million British pounds. Depending on when he offered it that was between like 1.2 and 1.4 million dollars so not a small amount of money.
Should have taken it.
Bought a house.
Get a little job for expenses.
Huge mistake.

Unless they had a written contract for the 5% he asking for then it was really stupid out of Artem. He honestly could retire on that amount if he wanted, if you don't have to live near work you can get a house really cheap then put the rest in low risks securities to cover your expenses.

So you would let your best friend work a 2nd job doing hard construction work when you have $500 mil in the bank and make millions every year? Conor spends a million dollars in a month ffs. Conor could give him $3-5 mil and not even miss it.
Artem made a living in fighting for however many years simply due to his connection to Conor. Even his bkfc fight was because of his affiliation with Conor.
If what we're hearing is true and Conor did offer a million to Artem, and the man turned it down expecting more money, that's on him. At what point is Artem responsible for himself?

And at what point is Conor responsible to fulfilling his contractual obligations. If Conor signed something syaing Artem was to get 5%, then only offered him a million, then yes Artem should have said no and sueed for the full amount. Until we actually know what was done behind closed doors it's hard to take either side

Don't feel too sad for guys like him. It's like Rocky 3 said, eventually they turn back to becoming regular people. If you can't quit like Apollo, you will ruin your health or even die. Or you can choose to go Rocky's way and get a regular job again, and have those amazing memories for the rest of your life.
Wtf? Rocky came back many times and we may still see him at 78 beating Fury or whoever dares to face him.
Dixon got fucked up. So did Tommy.

Well, sure. if there's a written contract then Artem will likely prevail.

But do you expect that two friends shooting the breeze back in the day put something in writing about an idea they were bouncing back and forth? Or were they ever business partners in some legally recognizable sense? - I don't really know much about their relationship.

ASccording to Artem he was the one brokering the deal and speaking to all booze companies and investors and whatever and got the deal made before bringing it to Conor to do the sit down etc. If so then there most def is a paper traila dn things in writing.

sorry if this question was already asked and answered, but can someone please give me some context for this pic ?
Time and location ?
I know he never made McGregor money, but the few BKFC fights he had surley made him at least 6 figures overall.
Maybe not enough to be living large, but imo, enough to not work a regular 9-5 job, so soon after his retirement.

For a guy with a financial degree, how hard could it be to buy a couple of appartments in Dublin (where the rents are insane i hear), and rent them.

If true I hope he sues the shit of of McGregor and wins. Also, wondering if Khabib did a "told you so" to Lobov?

My only takeaway from this is that Paulie Malignaggi lost a fight to a construction worker.

The belief that you gotta bring your whole crew with you is what has put many pro athletes and other celebs into bankruptcy. At some point "your boys" gotta do something for themselves.
not all your boys obviously. but when u have the means to provide for your close friends and youd rather buy yourself a fuckin lambo yacht. then ur a douche

Yea, dude.
He's suing out of regret. Lawyers cost $.

That I can agree with, but I'm not in alignment with supporting an adult because we're friends.
