They may have nerves or nervousness but I can’t imagine them being afraid.

I get armans gripe, he has proven himself the best guy in the division without the belt. But he also had the title shot. And straight up sacked one of the UFC's big ppv's main event at the last possible moment giving them no time to find an actual good replacement. You ruffle a LOT of feathers when you do that. And the trust dosen't come back quick. I wanted it to be arman, but I understand why they went with a couple of fan favorites instead. End of the day you need to expect they're going to run the UFC like a business. And business with arman has already bitten them once.

I never fought to earn a living at it, I started way too late and knew I'd never get good enough in the time I had to even have that as a consideration. But I damn sure know that the work it took just to be able to take a couple fights vs other inexperienced nobodies was insane. Beat the hell out my body. If my dad had hundreds of millions and I could roll around in Phantoms and basically live like a trust fund kid and do whatever I wanted...I probably never would've set foot in that gym. Just being honest, that kind of $ opens up the ability to do so much other shit with your time.

The fact that Arman puts that work in to be that good in his situation? It's impressive.

Arman is a POS no respect fot him but he is a highly skilled fighter i respect that. Paddy is right - dude fought once in 2 years and fought essentially a journeyman in Hooker no threat . Hasn't fought a legit threat since 300 and that fight was a flip . Hes good but Arman is far from all world anything.

Paddy has a fun style , hes very marketable , great on Promos - e en becoming less Cringe. Arman should have been demanding to fight Paddy not a gate keeper.

This is what happens when the most obvious measure of "merit" is popularity. Both of these guys are making noise, but throwing out so much stuff out there that some of it that anyone actually listens to can tell it's bullshit.
