Interview with Ariel Helwani stating many things including but not limited to speaking about Conor's true superstardom and his belief as to why he thinks things panned out the way they did today.

Great day for sherdog tho I must admit

Its not a good day for ariel helwani because he loves to deep throat mcgregor.

For me its just another tuesday.

1 fighter represents the entire sport?

Pretty good day for triggering whatever Conor fans are left on sherdog though.

I hope Conor comes back. It would be a loss for sure.

If you just joined the sport then yeah

And by that I mean watching

It would be a lot worse for MMA if it was a bad injury, or some USADA bullshit.

A fighter vs. company argument is not so bad. I'm actually relieved.

When the biggest star in MMA gets pulled from a card, for, whatever the reason is.

It sucks.

I am sad. Anyone who isn't sucks.

I'm not a fan of McGregor but I don't want to see him go out like this and the excuse I'm hearing from Dana is weak as fuck. I've never in all my years of following this sport seen something so odd. McGregor/Diaz rematch is a guaranteed million plus buy card and Dana pulls his main event not because of an injury, not because of a failed drug test, but because McGregor missed a press conference?

I'm sorry but bull fucking shit Dana.

Oh shut up Ariel. It's a great day for the sport, long term.

If Conor gets more money, it will open the doors for other fighters to get more money, which will attract higher caliber athletes in the future. Fighters win by getting what they deserve. Fans win by getting higher caliber athletes into the sport. UFC wins by keeping fans interested due to the higher caliber athletes.

Bad day for the sport when McGregor got an immediate rematch off a loss and when the UFC nuked Frankie Edgar's title shot.

Pretty cutthroat if it's true how the UFC brass dealt with this. Fucking bullshit.

Bad day?

conor realized he had no chance against Diaz.

Fighters safety first isn't it?

Is there a reason Connor restructure his contract after every single fight? The UFC started this by caving to his every demand but there was going to come a point where they had to say no.

to me it's a great day, but let's see in the long term how this will affect mma which in my opinion will not. helwani likes to give oral pleasure to Mcg so that statement is just plain dumb
