Is this thread supposed to be sarcasm? Pat sounds old and out of touch here. "They just didn't want to kill their kinsman!" in the Deep South is not a very good excuse for joining the rebellion since they were bound to "kill their kinsman" in the north if they fought for the rebellion. It's amazing how long these guys have held on to believing the rebellion was actually over some noble cause, regardless of how silly the causes start sounding.

He loved Nixon, worked for him. Said he was like a father to him. I don't consider that corruption.
