Oh, I though you meant he corrupted his judgement, I def. don't believe that. Nixon really wasn't that bad criminally. His biggest act of damage was perfectly legal which was breaking our currency's final tie to gold.

So let's say you grew up in South Carolina on a small farm. When war breaks out an army outfit comes to your home and says you can either join up or be punished for desertion. Keep in mind that after 1862 execution was a justified penalty for such act.

So please, give me some bullshit story about how you would pack up everyting and move to the north. Lol

I have no family ties to the south if that is what you are assuming but if I was born south of maryland and alive in the 1860s I would have fought for the confederates because that is how it went. Most soldiers weren't fighting to protect slavery, because most soldiers didn't own slaves, but I know that hurts your narrative.

You are so full of shit thinking that southerners should have all just deserted or moved out west. It just shows your lack of experience in the real world and just how important virtue signalling in hindsight is to you.

Pats books are well researched and worth a read, he makes the best arguments on anti-free trade, non-interventionist foreign policy, and immigration that is pretty irrefutable.

Can anyone dig up the clip of Pat on Bill Mahr, where they brought him on to get destroyed on immigration and he was able to get the crowd to cheer for him and received praise from Mahr? It was quite impressive.
