Are you upgrading to Windows 11?

I'm just happy no one said they want to go back to Windows 8. Seriously though the best Microsoft OS's are XP, 7 and 98 and it's not even close compared to the others.

I really wish laws were in place to allow people to edit code, publish and use existing software if it is no longer being supported (like Linux does). I'm confident that there are programmers that could take the Windows XP or 7 source code and upgrade it so well that a good amount of people decide to never get another "new" version of Windows again.

Haha, and more than likely at least 10,000 of them would probably show copy errors. LOL.

98 didnt start out so well but became very good by the end. The SE update in 99 was when it really got going.

On my memories windows ME was quite something terrible. I stilll have nightmare from this day. 1758051412587.jpeg
 
I have two laptops. My old one is Windows 7, my newer one is windows 10. I much prefer the Windows 7. I liked the design of windows 98 but from what I remember it was slow.

I didn't connect it to web lol. Couldn't if wanted to it was dial up and I no longer have a landline. I did fire up and old windows 95 recently though and it started right up used it to write up some papers - worked perfectly. Also played an old doom game also worked .

i bought a used one recently with windows 11 but only because my old one is really slow and on it's last legs. 400 for a 2tb, 32gb better one is fair. woulda had to get one anyway.
 
I think we should all collectively join hands in a massive sherbro kumbaya circle and shift back to Windows XP

This shit is getting out of hand

Its not playable anymore that license has died in the 2000s , never mind , Ubisoft bought the rights and re-released the game.
 
If it ain't broke, don't fix it, that's been my philosophy when it comes to computers. There must be a compelling reason for me to upgrade and W11, auto HDR is the only thing as a gamer I'm interested in but that's not enough.
